Yes there a ton of similarities to breathe of the wild but there is also a ton fresh and new. The map does not feel the same at all somehow just on the surface, then add in the sky, caves, and underground and there is a whole lot of new to explore. Unless you're a korok who lives under a rock youre already familiar with the latest zelda format but that doesnt mean its not fresh. Just go get it.

Great game, glad they had physical copies. Just waiting on nintendos next system.

Feels like Breath of the Wild 1.2 Not much has changed which means you can easily put in 100+ hours if you did so in the first game. You definitely don't need to replay BotW or play it for the firat time before playing this game. The games are almost identical.
