I am an old-school Zelda fan from he original NES and haven't played a newer Zelda game in 20 years. Picked up a switch and this game and I am really enjoying it.

If I'm being honest this game is worth more than $70, but I hope prices stop increasing; all these prices going up is making debate is eating all that important

The best game I have played in a long while. It takes what Breath of the Wild did well and improves on it, while addressing most of the complaints in a satisfying way.

I love Zelda and Breath of the Wild is probably the only Zelda to surpass Ocarina of Time. Tears of the Kingdom is a fantastic game. My only issue with it is, the more I play it, the more it seems like a BOTW DLC. A huge DLC, but a DLC none the less. The map is the same but updated with caves, a sky area and depths area. Also there a little differences everywhere which make it seem "new". My biggest issue with game is it doesn't really introduce any new gameplay to set it apart from it's predecessor. Yes there's "fuse", vehicle building, but the core gameplay like grinding parts for armor upgrades, beating divine beasts, and 99% of the time fighting bokoblins, feels very familiar. Fuse is a great new mechanic but it absolutely DOES NOT solve durability. Durability is still a major frustration for me. Even with fused items, fairly high level weapons can break after a fight or two, that's still very frustrating. I honestly thought fusing would fix the problem but unfortunately it didn't. The vehicle building is fun. Coming from games like Scrap Mechanic and Trail Makers, the vehicle building in TOTK is very basic but I get it, it's just an addition to an adventure game, it's not the main thing. While the home building has been expanded, it also feels very limited and I'm definitely wanting more pieces. It's still a great, addictive game just not a new game and I honestly don't think it's worth an extra $10. Did I pay the extra $10, yes because I'm insane I couldn't wait to play Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom is my first Zelda game in years, and it has not disappointed. Hours of gameplay lie ahead.

Another fantastic Zelda game. Hopefully you can find this game as it has sold out at most places. Even better then the previous versions. Lots of fun game play too.

If you enjoyed Breath of the Wild, you’re going to love this sequel. So much more expansive. You’ll easily lose 100 hours playing and not get far in the story line.

What a fun game! Not only is there ground levels to explore but worlds up in the sky and below. This is a massive experience zelda fans new and nostalgic would enjoy.

This has to be the best Zelda adventure yet. The whole family has enjoyed every Zelda experience but this one has captivated all of us and we haven’t put it down yet.

This game is absolutely fantastic! I thought Breath of The Wild would be impossible to outshine, but this make that feel more like a tutorial to Tears of the Kingdom.

I bought this for my son for his birthday. He loved receiving it and has already said that the game far exceeded his expectations. I'm happy that he loves it.

Nintendo truly raised the bar with this game. The amount of freedom and ability to create is mind boggling. Becoming one of the greatest games I've ever played!

Pre-ordered for my 11 y/o son, and he's been hooked since day 1. He plays the Nintendo Switch game docked to a tv. Gorgeous graphics & engaging game play.

Amazing game. This game is as close to perfection as you are going to get. Everything is improved from gameplay to graphics. Just an outstanding work of art!

So far this is easily my game of the year. This is vastly better then BOTW and I absolutely loved every minute of it. It’ll be hard for Nintendo to follow this up.

I was worried that this would feel like expensive dlc but it truly feels like a completely new and full game. It makes sense why it took so long to release. 9.5/10
