Awesome game! Keeps my attention and lots of different things to do!

Very similar to the first, would not recommend if you didn’t like breath of the wild. There is an added section underground and 4 “dungeons” compared to the first. Slightly different story than the first but along similar lines.

Alot of ground to cover with tons of missions and side missions to accomplish. It has Sky Islands, ground level, underground level, caves and shrines. New abilities, make unique contraptions, lots of weapons and outfits. The story is great, and enjoyable. Maybe too much for young crowds or too much for someone who wants a quick game to beat. My son and I like this game alot tho.

It does recycle the original gameplay of Breath of the Wild, but expands upon its content. Definitely a standout from the previous game. So far in my current playthrough i've only gone through 1 dungeon, and have spent 40+ hours. There's just so much going on through exploration. I just lose myself customizing weapons and creating vehicles, love the new game mechanics.

10 hours into The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and I am incredibly excited for the hundreds of hours to come! Link’s new abilities allow for a high amount of creativity, making the whole game a large sandbox. This is absolutely a step up from its predecessor Breath of the Wild, which I spent roughly 450 hours completing at 100%! What are you waiting for.. go buy it!

erfect sequel to Zelda Breath of The Wild. Link has several new abilities (will list later) to play around with World is more expansive: There’s the Great Plateau (old Breath of the Wild map) with slightly altered environments due to gloom infection, the sky city, and the depths (huge underground cave network below hyrule). Smoke and highlighted light pillars shows points of interest in the overworld without having to look at the map Weapon durability is back. I know some people don’t like breakable items/weapons, but it teaches kids to be more adaptable rather than have constant/sustainable gains all the time. Also helps them be more creative in the fusing items together. Items are less scarce this time around giving you more opportunities to experiment with new combinations Still have freedom to be creative and do what you want. Can think of creative ways to cheat the puzzle with new abilities instead of the intended way of doing it, making the experience your own. Gives you the ‘I don’t think we are supposed to do that, but it worked!’ moments Temples return. Each one have a companion character which grants you special abilities for that temple/dungeon. Bosses at end of temples are really powerful and not just simple advanced moving puzzles

A fantastic sequel to BotW! I had my hesitation about some of the game play mechanics from videos, but they are integrated so well in the game. I have spent more hours than I'd like to admit, but absolutely loved it and the story I felt was better than the previous game. I like that this game gives you the ability to play the game how YOU want to play.

Beautiful open world experience!! Love the gameplay and story 10/10

Unfortunately, I’ve only been able to log 5-6 hours on the game in the span of the 2 weeks since its release. However, from what I’ve played so far, the story, environment and characters, although similar to BOTW’s, have shown drastic more amounts of improvement! It’s literally a perfect sequel! Don’t hesitate to buy because of a slight increase of price!

My whole family loves this game! So much to explore, probably too much! Lol! Definitely a time consuming game so probably only get of you have a lot of free time. Fuse and the Ultrahand ability are sooo dope! So exciting, the the Minecraft of the Zelda realm! If you like to create, explore, and fight ugly monsters, then I would so recommend this game!

Words cant even describe how good of a game this is. BOTW was an amazing game as well but this one following after it is a masterpiece!!

Absolutely incredible and beautiful game - beat all of my high expectations. The plot and story is beautiful and heart wrenching and, other than that, just exploring the world and getting to make creative solutions is such a delight. I've put in over 100 hours of this game so far just with exploring and enjoying myself and am nowhere near sick of it.

Zeldas a classic Nintendo game, its right up there with Mario games. The game is fun and can be challenging at times which makes it enjoyable. Its one of those challenges where if you put it down for a bit then come back to it after a while you'll get it.

If you're the type of gamer to become addicted to amazing games and then don't buy this game. If you're intrigued, read on. Imagine, if you will, a game that takes the best aspects of several groundbreaking games such as RDR2, Elden Ring, Minecraft, Dark Souls, of course BOTW, etc. and combines them in such a way that your mind is irreparably blown from the sheer quality and fun it allows the player to experience. I thought Hogwarts Legacy was game of the year... then I played it and found myself underwhelmed. Moving onto Elden Ring I found myself entranced and enthralled by the magnitude, developer's attention to detail, and challenge. Then I stopped midway to buy a Switch just to play this. Some may say the price tag is steep at $70. I'd agree, if it wasnt absolutely worth every penny and second spent playing. Dont sleep on this game. I dont care if you're a Legend of Zelda fan or not, this game will make you a believer. It is triple S tier, and easily game of the year in my opinion. As a lifelong Legend of Zelda fan, this game was a phenomenal and unexpected culmination to the series. I will pray for another that is as good or tops this one but honestly? Slim chance. Its fantastic.

Such an amazing sequel from BOTW. It had similar quests, temple challenges, mini boss fights, etc. With the addition to exploring the sky islands from above to the underground’s of Hyrule, adventure never ends. And the craziest part is the boundless creations you can make with merging objects! My mind is blown and it’s such a fantastic addiction!

If you are a Nintendo and Zelda fan. This sequel to the switch launch title is a no brained to purchase. The open world adventure not only advances the lore from the first title. It has more monumental activities to do within the game. This game is with out doubt an excellent title for the Nintendo company. I can not recommend this game enough!!!

Honestly never seen a sequel to the dozens of Zelda but this one out does it. They brought all the things we wanted to a game. Building your own car to figuring out new puzzles. The graphics are great and the story is very immersive.

**Spoiler Free** As a long time Zelda player and a huge fan of Breath of the Wild, I was so excited to play this sequel. While it is not necessary to play to play Breath of the Wild first, the game and story are much more understood if you do. The game also is difficult for a Zelda game and builds on the knowledge of mechanics from playing the Breath of the Wild. Despite reusing the same world, this game is so much larger, and often times unrecognizable to its predecessor. The new gameplay mechanics of fusing weapons and vehicles takes the open world sandbox experience and brings a creative playground that is a blast to just explore and have fun. The story, although taking a backseat to the gameplay, is more prominent than in Breath of the Wild and gives Zelda fans a lot to be excited to see. While being a fantastic addition to the Zelda franchise, it is very much based on Breath of the Wild, and if you didn’t enjoy that game, likely this sequel is not for you. The massive size of the game absolutely has s more than enough for the price and is even daunting to approach, with hundreds of hours of potential play. Any fans of exploration without handholding or a creative open world sandbox, you will love this game!

What a game, I swear I’ve sunk well over 100 hours into the game and still haven’t come close to experiencing all of the available content. It really has come a long way since majora’s mask and oracle of seasons I played as a kid in the 90’s. Probably kne of the biggest reasons why anyone buys a Nintendo Switch these days. A MUST HAVE!
