Great Sequal!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was absolutely fantastic. There’s so much to do and explore. Collectathonists will be busy. I was definitely worried considering the same overall map was used, but they changed enough to the world that it was different but felt familiar, without just feeling like a copy paste job. I easily did 50+ hours, I’ve lost track of the time on this game. It would have easily been more if I didn’t decide to just suddenly focus on the main story. Many quests, many things to collect, many hours of fun no matter what you decide to do.

Nintendo has done it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The developers learned their lessons from BOTW, and made the world far more detailed. Explorable cave systems, underground wells, sky islands-- there's so many new areas and changes to the geography, despite being the same Hyrule we know. The story is far more nuanced than its predecessor, the cut scenes feel more engaging, and the people of Hyrule actually know your name. Compelling characters and missions, beautiful music and game design, fun new tools to explore and interact the world with. I highly recommend this game, even with the $70 price tag.

Breath of the Wild x (3)
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is massive! If you loved BotW and wanted more of what make that game amazing, then TotK is for you. The map is 3 times the size, with so many things to do its hard to imagine ever 100% completing the game. It can be overwhelming to someone not familiar with these style of games so I suggest following the games suggested path in the beginning until you get comfortable. As a fan of Zelda games since Ocarina of Time, this game fullfils on being a unique gaming experience that feels nostalgic but next gen at the same time. Highly recommend.

A world to get lost in
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think I’m about halfway through the game and honestly it’s an easy game of the year contender. The arm mechanic with building, molding, and just creating; weapons, mechanisms, and vehicles has distracted me so much from the main game. The game runs amazing on the standard switch considering how much anxiety there was about frame rate up to launch. The game feels super polished and fun. No complaints other than it’s just so easy to get lost in the world which really just shows how great Nintendo is at crafting the world of Hyrule.

A must play for any fantasy adventurer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply the best Zelda game ever made. A few years ago Breath of the Wild broke many barriers for open world games, but at the same time it was a little bit lacking on some details. This title show that the Nintendo team learned a lot in 6 years and made a game worth the wait. If you are willing to grab a sword and jump to the adventure, this game is a must.

Excellent game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a good job of building on the Breath of the Wild formula while bringing back some traditions from older Zelda games. I highly recommend for gamers who prefer substance over structure. It guides you more than the last game and definitely has more plot, but it mostly just sets you loose in a huge world and leaves the what, when and where up to you. Not just an asset flip of Breath of the Wild. It is a direct sequel to Breath of the wild and while you don't need to play that one to enjoy it, you'll get alot more out of it if you did.

Zelda does it again!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off by saying that I have been playing this game since I bought it and absolutely adore it. When I bought the new Zelda game I was fairly weary at spending my money on it as I was concerned it would just be similar to a DLC, with that said, I can tell you for a fact that it is not infact a DLC but is entirely brilliant and unique. I spent 9 hours playing this game the first day I got it and already have found so much joy in using the new abilities like Ultrahand, Ascend and Fuse. I found that when it came to fuse, I had alot more opportunity to think about what I want to use the weapon as. Do I want a hammer? A sword? Or do I want an axe? I began to plan out and even keep notes of my inventory on my journal to be able to keep track of what items would be best use for each of these categories. I've found myself with an overload of Diamond Reapers (diamonds fused with swords) and have found this to be one of my current favorites. Moving on I want to say that to those who think that this game is just a DLC, please take my word in that its not. The enemies are now alot stronger from what they were in BOTW and I've noticed the blood moons feel more frequent (meaning more frequent spawning which means that you dont have to wait for ages to go farming for monster parts if you've defeated the majority of the beasts in the area you're looking). Furthermore the depths creep me out so I haven't exactly explored much of it but with what I have explored, I can confirm you will have absolutely hours of time to spend here. On top of that, I love the new rewards system that comes with the stables. I've already gotten the majority of the rewards so far and I find myself purposefully going to stables to sleep, just so I can get those points. With all that being said, I truly believe that this game is currently one of the greatest games on the market as of right now, its a fresh of breathe air where the possibilities of what can be done are endless. I hope this review helps you out! If you haven't already done so, I would get BOTW and play it first so you can get an understanding of this game.
