It's Breath of the Wild, but Moreso.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the more common criticisms I see of this game os that it's "just Breath of the Wild again", and that is mostly true, but Tears of the Kingdom also adds enough new gameplay mechanics and exploration space to set itself apart from its predecessor. The story alone is worth the price, and the game makes great use of the Switch's capabilities to deliver a unique experience. I will say that this leniency only works once, however, and if a threequel is made, then it needs to get away from the established formula.

Another success for Nintendo
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an avid Legend of Zelda fan and this game is another success to add to the collection. The wait was well worth it. Graphics are gorgeous, game play is engaging, and you can spend so many hours getting lost in new areas and worlds created by Nintendo. Definitely a must buy for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Worthy sequel to Breath of the Wild
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo hits it out the park again! Are the Switch's graphics as good as Xbox or Playstation? No. What about 4k or other advance technical features? No, But what Nintendo does and has done better than anyone is create stories and immersive world that their fans will come back to again and again with glee. I've been playing Zelda games since, well..since the age my children are now! This game does not break a lot of new ground the way Breath of the Wild did but it is another incredibly wide world full of adventures and fun.

Buy. This. Game.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo blew the world away with Breath of the Wild. They could have just left us with that and kept everyone happy, but they didn't. Instead, they decided to try to one-up themselves. They didn't have to spend years creating a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, but they did it anyways. How did it turn out? Well, Tears of the Kingdom is...better. This game is BETTER than Breath if the Wild. It shouldn't be, but it is. It's not even fair how good this game is, because now all of the other games we own pale in comparison.

Amazing game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Favorite game of the year so far. Put 105 hours into it before doing final boss but there’s still easily 100+ hours of content to enjoy.

Amazing sequel to Breath of the Wild
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some people complain that it's "too similar" to Breath of the Wild. I disagree. I think it's the perfect sequel to it, and a very strong game on its own and very engaging! The storyline is a little more linear, which I think is a great thing for such a vast game, but you can still go as deep into quests as you would like and can definitely choose your own path. 100% a must if you have a Switch.

The forever game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A game that not only makes you think, but you will always find something new you missed the first time. Hours, days, weeks and even months of endless entertaining game play. In this house, 3 generations enjoy playing. You will cry, you will laugh, you will run, and youll even scream out a warrior cry [especially when battling in the dark]. The satisfaction and sense of relaxation when playing this game is unmatched by others. You will not regret purchasing and playing. A game that you will never return.

If you loved BotW, you’ll love this
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing game that builds on the discovery and sandbox elements established in the BotW, and takes it to another level. This game is meant to be played at your own pace and your own time. There’s so much to do and see but it never really feels repetitive. Only complaint is the beautiful art style and world are held back by the Switch’s hardware. Environments can get a bit blurry and the frame rate can drop even lower than the max 30fps than the game runs at. If that isn’t a deal breaker than play this game !

The best zelda game to date
|Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can i say about this game besides its fricken awesome! They basically fixed everything about breath of the wild that everyone was complaining about (climbing wet walls and slipping, and overall traversing), included some really easy glitches (as of version 1.1.1), and some of the best visuals for a zelda game period. However, take it with a grain of salt that the performance is not as great, in high density areas youre gonna see major frame drops. But ganondorf... Whoooooooo boy is he one fine gerudo man lemme tell you

Great game.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My personal favorite game for this year. It is so expansive and immersive that a person could lose themselves in it. I don't see how anyone finished 100% of this game because there are so many different things that a person can do. The creators and programmers of this game outdid themselves. The only thing I would add to it is to be able to use the Wii move controlling with your body.

Overwhelmingly Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have put over 100 hours into the previous Zelda Breath of the Wild and still have things left to explore. This Zelda is so expansive that it is almost overwhelming. The sheer size and freedom of the game is impressive. I was not as annoyed with the whole weapon and item shenanigans of Breath of the Wild as some people were, but I am pleasantly surprised how Nintendo took steps to improve this system in the new game. The level of creativity that can be explored in Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best advantages.
