This game is a masterpiece. From the very beginning I was in love and hooked to it. It adds onto everything BOTW was, and then somehow makes the existing aspects better. Despite the world being mostly the same, it feels as if im exploring a completely different Hyrule, and it just feels so refreshing. Strongly recommend the game, especially to those who played BOTW.

I am an old school gamer, first system was the sega master systems. I love adventure games and this brought me back. Enjoyed all the puzzles and game play to the game. The only thing I wish I would be able to change is the button options, the jump button specifically lol. I know its something minor.

I loved BOTW for so many reasons, and Tears of the Kingdom does not disappoint! There's obviously still some similarities, (because this is a sequel) but I think Nintendo made this a great addition to the first game. There's never a short supply of things to do, even if you aren't following the story. I expect to spend a good amount of time to complete the game!

I have refused to finish this game because I enjoy playing it so much. What feels familiar after BOTW is still a whole new world in TOTK, thanks to unfamiliar terrain and new areas to explore. There's SO much to do in this game, I've been on it for almost 200 hours and still not even hit up Ganon.

Say what you want about Nintendo, but man do they know how to make captivating games. This latest installment looks fantastic. There seems to be an infinite amount of combinations for putting things together. I think this one beats out the last one by a margin and is just fun to even watch others play. Small screen is nice, but give it a try on a large one too.

This game. Is IT. It lived up to all it's hype, and it really expanded the BOTW universe and the Zelda universe in general in a way that I never would've expected. There's so much to do and see and with every new character and adventure and quest I fall in love more and more. You will not be disappointed. Hidemaro Fujibayashi and Eiji Aonuma really popped off.

Take Zelda BOTW and explode it up times one hundred with new characters and content and this is what we have here. Ummm...yeah this game just does it for me. The Ariel and dungeon play has been dramatically expanded on as well as the crafting system. Glue anything to anything basically and see what it does (sometimes with halarioty). Great great game.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom does not change the design elements that make Breath of the Wild a masterpiece, but it is not a simple sequel to the old-fashioned replay. This sandbox game has become larger, richer, and even more ambitious, with very creative new systems, such as vehicle production, imaginative weapon forging, and dazzling new maps.

Retains the beautiful art style from breath of the wild as well as the map. But they have added new abilities as well as expanded the map vertically into the air and underground as well creating new challenges. The ability to craft new weapons or objects from other things opens multiple ways to accomplish goals and fun new ways to move around the map.

Not enough stars to give - I usually try to get an least an hour of play per $1 a game costs, and with game prices increasing to $70 it's a hard ask. This game is the kind you pour 100 hours into and barely scratch the surface. I can't recommend it enough if you liked the previous entry or if you just want to try it fresh with no experience in Zelda games.

Honestly, this game is very good...it feels like what BotW should have been. TotK makes BotW very skippable, my suggestion is to do so and just play TotK after watching some videos on BotW's (minimal) storyline. If you like mechanics of BotW but want to build things and explore more, this game does a good job of expanding on that. There is MORE story than prior, but TotK still feels lacking in story compared to previous entries in the Zelda series. Regardless, if you thought BotW was decent you should definitely play TotK. If for nothing else, lets reward game design that isn't centered around DLC and microtransactions. It is a full game that feels absolutely complete as it sits. Even though I'm not crazy about the direction this franchise is going in, I still have to admit this is a very good game.
