An absolute marvel
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn’t a game. It’s an experience. My wife LOVES this game. It is a complete overhaul of BOTW… and that is actually a good thing. Some haters call it $70 DLC… this is akin to calling Sims 4, DLC , for the original Sims game!

No Issues Here
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game, great story what more could you want? Most games these days are full of filler content with no real story. This is what separates Nintendo from the rest.

TEARS OF THE KINGDOM SAVED MY LIFE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best game ever made. Just when you think you've seen everything, 5 hours in... BOOM. My heart skipped. This expands Breath of the Wild in such a way that my jaw has dropped and I now must speak in only oohs and ahhs.

Lives up to the hype
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter and I are just getting into this, but I am already blown away by what I see. Friends and reviewers were saying this improves on Breath of the Wild, and I was pretty skeptical but now that I have the game, I see that it is.

Finished and left disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll preface with saying that I enjoyed BOTW. And while i did enjoy it, I can see that the formula does struggle to carry a new adventure. With these games the ‘temples/dungeons’ really took a dive by watering it down to ‘light puzzle course’ with a boss at the end. I found the adventure to getting to some of these areas more interesting than the ‘temples’ themselves. There are some great set-pieces to their build-up but lost due to how underwhelming these areas are. The underground has lore implications but not much is done with it outside of mining for rocks to feed your battery mechanic, mining rocks for your building mechanic, looking for costumes in chests, and farming monster parts. There is no other reason to explore outside of these things. The new set of tools you have really grant you a lot of accessibility with the ability to craft different contraptions. It’s a nice addition, but given that these things are tied to the battery mechanic, you’ll likely opt for the things that drain your battery at a slower rate. Ultimately mileage will vary here. Quest aren’t very rewarding outside of the ones that grant costumes. There are some nice world building moments but they are sprinkled throughout the many fetch quests you’ll come upon. Caves are also new setpieces that act like mini dungeons, but the rewards aren’t very convincing in keeping you going with exploring them as well. Not enough new things, more of the same so the burnout from repetition may come out faster than expected. I find it difficult to recommend. You’re going through the same process with a few new tools in a slightly more disheveled Hyrule.

As fun as the first
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new game for Zelda is as fun as the first one and adds more. I would consider waiting for a sale, but if you want to keep your kid involved with a puzzling, quest, monster fighting adventure, then this is your game. My 12 YO loves it

One of the best Zeldas ever for sure
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is absolutely incredible! I've been playing it all week and feel like I've barely even scratched the surface of it. Took everything great about Breath of the Wild and made it even better, as well as adding in creative new mechanics.

Tears of the Kingdom could be your GOAT.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked Breath of the Wild, you're gonna love this. It's everything Breath of the Wild was, dialed to eleven, and it's so good. I've been playing nonstop for days, only finished two temples, and I feel like there's so much to see and do.

Love love love this game! Addicted!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is just as good as the first, if not better! I definitely recommend picking it up if you can afford it. You don’t have to play the first game in order to play this one, but I recommend it! It’s definitely worth the money!

Very good, but overrated
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I might be one of the few people that prefers BotW to it's sequel. There are some ingenious systems at play here, but the game really shows that the Switch is long overdue for an upgrade. The excellent art design is hampered by the technical limitations of the Switch, making the game look downright ugly at times. And for all the ingenuity of it's physics-based gameplay, most of the game is mired in 6th-7th gen design choices, esp when it comes to the interface. Overall a very good, but highly overrated game.

Zelda game you must have
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start out by saying that this game is great and it’s my favorite Zelda game thus far. The mechanics, the mini map, the smoothness, and the optimization on a handheld is incredible. If you are a Zelda fan this game will not disappoint.

A worthy sequel
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing BotW so many times, the sequel had to deliver in a big way, and oh boy did it. They took everything about that game and dialed it up to 11, oh and if you liked theory crafting about the Zonai from BotW this is the game for you!

A very worthy sequel to Breath of the Wild
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend this game. It takes what was great about Breath of the Wild and adds innovative physics-based abilities that encourage creativity in solving the many puzzles in the game. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

Nintendo renewed BotW
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know how Nintendo could take one of the greatest games of the century and make it feel brand new by changing it up. The game still has a lot of core elements from BotW but has plenty of new mechanics that really refresh the game.

freedom to create
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - out does the previous game. the game play is outstanding, the amount of freedom to create has to be experienced to fully appreciate what the developers have brought to this franchise.
