It's more difficult then previous versions, but once you learn and get the hang of it after not knowing what your doing for alottle bit, the game gets really easy after awhile, Lots of places to explore more to do then the previous game, they definitely added alot more then the previous game to and you can tell they put alot of love into this game. Same map but bigger. I really love this game. Id still say this makes my top 3 best zelda games ever.

Without exaggerating, this is one of the greatest games of all time. They took everything good about Breath of the Wild and somehow made it bigger and better. Who knew Zelda would become Just Cause + Gravity Rush + Death Stranding? And make the mechanics work better than each individual part? Not me, but I'm glad it did. Inspired puzzles, a deep story, and more fun minute-to-minute gameplay than I could ever hope for. 10/10 can't wait for the next one

Game is amazing. Actually playing it as I write this. So much to do and it'll keep you entertained for minimum 50 hours (but you could eaaily spend hundreds of hours playing). It's not perfect. Weapons break too fast but you can kind of offset that with the new fusion ability. 3 maps to explore. Sky islands, Hyrule and the Depths and you can craft so many cool inventions using the new Zonai devices and Ultrahand ability. Highly recommend.

I don't love a game with a high price tag, but this one is worth every penny. I anticipate getting 300+ hours of playtime out of the game. The storyline is fun and the mechanics are awesome. If you loved Breath of the Wild, you'll love this. I love that BotW gave us an expansive, open-world Zelda game but still paid respects to its roots. Tears of the Kingdom goes beyond this and created what feels like a new game in the same world.

Six years of waiting, hearing complaints of delays, prolonged waits for even a hope of decent false information and repeat Breath of the Wild visits. We though through it all we were prepared. Mental a game has trained our eyes and thumps for the many days our employers would and should expect us to use our sick leave. And thinking I’ve earned 999 giant cores without cheats or hacks I began my newest experience with The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Sucks if your in school but grades come first (remember parents never take the game. Take the power cord!!! How longs that charge last?) This game is worth it every penny. After starting the game your are once again in a familiar yet strange Hyrule from there all I will say is the from Breath of The Wild "Wether Skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped within the glowing embers of twilight...” the game will remind you of cherished past installment and make you rethink how the flow of Hyrule will be affected on this path. Ocarina of time, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity and who know how Tears of The Kingdom will unfold and where Link’s courage will take us. If looking at the game mechanics installed from future releases of The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess in TOTK. I, for one personally can wait albeit very, very, begrudgingly for the Next Legend of Zelda game in 20XX to see where the vision the Miyamoto and Tezuka have painted so vividly from the Clouds obscuring our vision. A traditional rainy climb and well you really will just have to play to see. From the 8 Bit Players to all those picking up the game for the first time. Welcome to Hyrule.

Zelda brings a lovable character from the series into the spotlight with a delightful and whimsical platforming experience. The game's visuals are a feast for the eyes, featuring a vibrant and colorful world that's both charming and visually appealing. The attention to detail in the various levels and characters showcases the creative potential of the PlayStation 5's hardware. Gameplay is where Sackboy shines. The platforming mechanics are solid and easy to pick up, making it accessible to players of all ages. The cooperative aspect of the game enhances the fun, allowing friends or family members to join in for a truly enjoyable multiplayer experience. The diverse levels, filled with puzzles and challenges, keep the game fresh and engaging. One of the game's highlights is its soundtrack, featuring catchy tunes that enhance the overall experience and create a lighthearted atmosphere. However, the game may not offer the depth or creativity found in other platforming titles, and some players might find it relatively short in terms of the main story. In summary, "Sackboy: A Big Adventure" is a charming and fun platformer, perfect for families or anyone looking for a wholesome and entertaining gaming experience. While it may not reinvent the genre, it offers a delightful journey in a world filled with imagination and creativity.

This game is absolutely amazing and has an inordinate amount of things to do! The way you get to unlock the story the more you play keeps you entertained. The Zonai Devices expand the amount of things you can create in the game. The addition to the map from Breath of the Wild has created so many more possibilities and places to explore. This game is one of the best of best I have ever played with a very thought out story line.

I know a lot of people will see all the 5 star reviews and immediately think “Well, it’s Zelda so of course it will score this high.” Breath of the Wild was met with high praise from a lot of people but also deterred some fans due to the lack of Zelda-defining features found in earlier games such as key items, actual dungeons and rewarding those that hunt for secrets. Nintendo clearly heard the fans and decided they had a good enough foundation set to build upon and boy did they ever! Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel to Breath of the Wild and starts you off immediately with a wonderful introduction to set the pace. From there you are given clear objectives to bring you back to focus on progressing the main story while you constantly venture off course for various tasks. The new fusion feature will test your inner engineer to come up with either outlandish ways to solve a puzzle or the most efficient. The developers have literally given you the ability to build what you want with few limitations. The combat is the same as it was in BotW but is easy enough for newcomers of the series to grasp. The music is more prevalent and absolutely wonderful as expected for a Zelda game. The graphics and aesthetic choices Nintendo made instantly make it a classic that will age with grace. If you loved Breath of the Wild then you’ll be absolutely satisfied with Tears of the Kingdom. If you didn’t love Breath of the Wild then try to take comfort knowing Tears of the Kingdom dials everything up to an 11 and will surely provide a Zelda fan with something they will enjoy.

Great sequel! More of the same Hyrule goodness with a bunch of added extras! New dungeons, new enemies, new objectives, great new darker themed story. A must have for any Switch owner and if you love adventure and open world games. My only gripes are the graphics are looking really dated on Switch compared to XS and PS5 4k/60fps as this game is barely 1080p and 30fps. Would love to see a Switch Pro with 4k enabled!

The game is very immersive and it also is very story oriented but in a way that makes it feel immersive and very open worldly it also makes the player feel like they are in the game and the decisions you make ok game affect the world itself so it draws you in as the story itself unravels within your eyes. I am sure that there will be more Zelda milestones as more Zelda games come out this game is a must play.

    Perfecting BOTW’s formula

By now everybody knows just how good 2017’s breath of the wild was, but Tears of the Kingdom makes Nintendo’s open-world masterpiece feel completely obsolete. Links powers feel more cohesive, the open world is familiar but has been changed in meaningful ways, and Nintendo’s creative solutions to complaints about BOTW has created the perfect gaming experience.

This is the one of the best games I have ever played. I own many consoles to include PC and I will be honest most games nowadays are just carbon copies of each other. Definitely a plus with the game maintaining an open world concept but also has a underground and sky area just as big. Each side quest is interesting and there are a ton more main quests. You can go one direction and find an interesting story or secret treasure. I found fierce deity boots which used to be ammibo exclusive. The last time I felt like this is when I played skyrim years ago. They fixed the breaking weapons mechanic in an interesting way I noticed that if you fuse certain weapons it greatly increases durability. I combined a boulder with my shield and it lasted 8 hours and I was constantly using it. Not only does this game scratch my creative itch it also has enough adventure for me as well. The only thing is the enemies are harder but there are more creative ways to make traps to help you early on. At first I hated the building mechanic the “Ultra hand” but then later on you get something called auto build. To be honest I am 36 hours in I still haven’t filled out the map. The first dungeon I did was beautiful it felt like they mixed aspects of old games with the new breath of the wild format. The boss was very interesting it reminded me of twilight princess with the underwater temple’s Boss. This is a really good game I think anyone who hates on it came in hating on it. I have enjoyed every second of this masterpiece.

As far as the game is concerned: if you liked Breath of the Wild then you will like t Tears of the Kingdom. This game had some big shoes to fill and I think it fulfilled all of my wants from a sequel. There is even more to explore and the story is even better. My Best Buy location also did an excellent job at facilitating all of the pre-orders thay came in for this game and we're incredibly well organized.

I'll start by saying I was not the biggest fan of BOTW since I really enjoy the more streamlined zelda experiences (Twilight Princess is my favorite). This game is MASSIVE and honestly a bit overwhelming, but I find the exploration much more engaging than BOTW. I also appreciate the darker tone. This game also looks excellent on the oled. Honestly kind of mind blowing theh got this game to work on switch.

I'm completely blown away by this game. I thought this would be the same as Breath of The Wild, but they completely redesigned everything and added not one, but two additional layers. It's still annoying keeping weapons from breaking so often. Some of the landscapes are still a bit barren and empty in some areas. Overall the game is fun and very in depth with lots of hours of game play.

If you own a switch this is what you’ve been waiting for. Yes compared to the other consoles the hardware is dated but Nintendo works it’s magic with a certain level of creativity you just won’t find elsewhere. You are given the tools you need at the beginning of the game but you will find new ways to use them throughout your journey. Just amazing the countless ways you can do things in this game.

this game is one of the greatest games in not just the series but in all of gaming history. the story, gameplay, and everything else is near perfection. and they improved so much on the issues in breath of the wild. it is a love letter to zelda fans everywhere and if you haven't played breath of the wild, this game is still easy to understand while having the challenge of the previous game

I think it's the perfect sequel to Breath of the Wild. It's everything that game was and more. TotK expands so much on what made the first game so incredible. It added new areas to explore, new enemies to fight, and basically infinite possibilities with the new fuse and ultrahand abilities. It has actual dungeons this time and not whatever the divine beasts were. 10/10, definitely pick this one up.

What an epic amazing game! After 75 hours I finally completed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. When I first started playing it I thought it had a really steep learning curve. But I put in 10 or so hours then just kept getting stuck and had to take breaks throughout it in the beginning. You can’t really just go and start playing the main game without beating a bunch of shrines, finding armor, and cooking and selling items to get rupees. But once I finally got to start the temples I quickly fell in love. So cool to play through the temples, meet the sages and having them join you in battle is really cool. Truly felt like Ocarina of time to me. Besides some of the challenges of getting started in the game was the perfect difficulty. The graphics are pretty standard, and the music was really good but not as good as Ocarina of time. I’m really glad I was able to get into this game since I wasn’t a huge fan of breath of the wild. The game is enormous too. There is so much you can do and I feel like I barely scratched the surface. I think in this day and age - this is probably my favorite Zelda game. But I don’t think anything will beat that feeling of when I played Ocarina of Time when I was in elementary school and being blown away by it. Probably my favorite game of the year so far. 9.4/10
