The Legend of Zelda is my favorite video game series so needless to say I absolutely love this game and every single thing about it. The game is amazing, creative, has an astounding plot and stunning visuals. 1000% recommend this game for every one that loves to express their creative side and loves to explore. I have pre-ordered from other stores before and I did not like it. I would think that I got a pre-order bonus but the week before release I would be told that I would not be receiving it, or that the game will arrive late. But since I have been pre-ordering at Best Buy that has never happened, and it was EXTREMLY important to me that I had Tears of the Kingdom when it released. I wasn't going to take any chances so I am very happy.

My 16 y/o daughter loves this game and it’s her newest obsession. She talks about the graphics and story being awesome. And I know Zelda as the classic Nintendo and love it then and love it that she loves it now

This is none of the best Zelda games ever. Great story, great new mechanics, overall fun game experience. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves Zelda or open worlds.

Great sequel. A big step toward bringing back the things that made previous Zelda games so great. Worth playing for the main story alone, not to mention the endless creativity of being able to build things.

Great game, lots of side quest and exploration. New mechanics to keep it interesting and add new methods to solve puzzles. Story line is keeps you interested in the plot as well as keeping the sandbox appeal.

10/10 A better breath of the wild

This game is breath of the wild but improved in nearly every way. If I had to have one complaint about the changes, it’s simply that I miss stasis. The expanded world to explore is amazing. I’ve not completed the story but I’ve done everything up to the final boss and I love every thing I saw, I was a little disappointed that a majority of takes place in the past again but the story itself is good enough for it to not be a dealbreaker for me. One final thing that doesn’t bother me as much as it confuses me is the lack of explanation for where all the sheikah stuff is, maybe that’s my fault and I was oblivious to the answer but I’ve seen nothing that explains it. All in all easily game of the year for me at least so far.

Possibly the greatest Zelda game ever made, and ive played them all. Seriously, the shear amout of imagination ability here for people to make their own creations as they fight the villain in an epic to save the princess is insanely mind boggling, and even more so that they got this running on the Switch is even sweeter that its on the go!

If you liked Breath of the Wild, you're gonna love this game. It's a familiar world yet so much has changed with the Upheaval. There's so much to explore in both the changed Hyrule and the new Skylands. The new abilities are a lot of fun to experiment with and come with a whole new slew of shrine puzzles. I could go on but don't want to spoil too much. Just note that if things like weapon degradation and lack of story soured your mood of BotW, TotK has vastly improved the former games flaws with things like the fuse ability and a story that makes you feel more involved. Even if you aren't a Zelda or BotW fan, I still highly recommend picking this game up if you love open world games with lots of things to find in it's world!

Tears of the Kingdom continues where Breathe of the Wild ends by pushing the story in interesting ways. The additions of building and crafting adds new twists to the gameplay

The DLC bs is coming from haters. This game feels similar to the last game but it also feels new in many ways. The price is higher than most switch games but it's worth the price if you want +100 of gameplay.

Very similar to the first, would not recommend if you didn’t like breath of the wild. There is an added section underground and 4 “dungeons” compared to the first. Slightly different story than the first but along similar lines.

It's been impossible to stop playing this. The story is really engaging for a Zelda game, the new abilities are waaaay too fun and the side stuff is very distracting (in the best way)

This game is A-maz-ing. If you thought BOTW was great and couldn’t get any better, Jesus Christ, you have no idea. I was actually super surprised, extremely hyped for this game. Preordered it (Best buy shipped it out late, smh) but it was fine because the wait was WORTH it. Storyline and music are phenomenal. The LOZ franchise has always had top-tier music. I technically still haven’t even beaten the game because you just get so distracted, either with finding the gazillion koroks, doing the random side quests, or just building the weirdest contraptions with absolutely no purpose to it. Even if this is your first Zelda game ever, I would 1000/10 recommend you play this.

My husband has been playing and I often watch him and help with the puzzles - you don’t need to have finished BOTW to “get” the story line. A rare, well polished game. If you are considering, go for it!

This game has mind-boggling amounts of content. Everything you do is so so much fun, most issues with BOTW have been fixed and everything works really well. This is probably my favorite game ever.
