Zelda does it again!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off by saying that I have been playing this game since I bought it and absolutely adore it. When I bought the new Zelda game I was fairly weary at spending my money on it as I was concerned it would just be similar to a DLC, with that said, I can tell you for a fact that it is not infact a DLC but is entirely brilliant and unique. I spent 9 hours playing this game the first day I got it and already have found so much joy in using the new abilities like Ultrahand, Ascend and Fuse. I found that when it came to fuse, I had alot more opportunity to think about what I want to use the weapon as. Do I want a hammer? A sword? Or do I want an axe? I began to plan out and even keep notes of my inventory on my journal to be able to keep track of what items would be best use for each of these categories. I've found myself with an overload of Diamond Reapers (diamonds fused with swords) and have found this to be one of my current favorites. Moving on I want to say that to those who think that this game is just a DLC, please take my word in that its not. The enemies are now alot stronger from what they were in BOTW and I've noticed the blood moons feel more frequent (meaning more frequent spawning which means that you dont have to wait for ages to go farming for monster parts if you've defeated the majority of the beasts in the area you're looking). Furthermore the depths creep me out so I haven't exactly explored much of it but with what I have explored, I can confirm you will have absolutely hours of time to spend here. On top of that, I love the new rewards system that comes with the stables. I've already gotten the majority of the rewards so far and I find myself purposefully going to stables to sleep, just so I can get those points. With all that being said, I truly believe that this game is currently one of the greatest games on the market as of right now, its a fresh of breathe air where the possibilities of what can be done are endless. I hope this review helps you out! If you haven't already done so, I would get BOTW and play it first so you can get an understanding of this game.

Worthy sequel to Breath of the Wild
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo hits it out the park again! Are the Switch's graphics as good as Xbox or Playstation? No. What about 4k or other advance technical features? No, But what Nintendo does and has done better than anyone is create stories and immersive world that their fans will come back to again and again with glee. I've been playing Zelda games since, well..since the age my children are now! This game does not break a lot of new ground the way Breath of the Wild did but it is another incredibly wide world full of adventures and fun.

Buy. This. Game.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo blew the world away with Breath of the Wild. They could have just left us with that and kept everyone happy, but they didn't. Instead, they decided to try to one-up themselves. They didn't have to spend years creating a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, but they did it anyways. How did it turn out? Well, Tears of the Kingdom is...better. This game is BETTER than Breath if the Wild. It shouldn't be, but it is. It's not even fair how good this game is, because now all of the other games we own pale in comparison.

It's Breath of the Wild, but Moreso.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the more common criticisms I see of this game os that it's "just Breath of the Wild again", and that is mostly true, but Tears of the Kingdom also adds enough new gameplay mechanics and exploration space to set itself apart from its predecessor. The story alone is worth the price, and the game makes great use of the Switch's capabilities to deliver a unique experience. I will say that this leniency only works once, however, and if a threequel is made, then it needs to get away from the established formula.

Amazing game

Overwhelmingly Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have put over 100 hours into the previous Zelda Breath of the Wild and still have things left to explore. This Zelda is so expansive that it is almost overwhelming. The sheer size and freedom of the game is impressive. I was not as annoyed with the whole weapon and item shenanigans of Breath of the Wild as some people were, but I am pleasantly surprised how Nintendo took steps to improve this system in the new game. The level of creativity that can be explored in Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best advantages.

Breath of the Wild, But on a Larger Scale
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked Breath of the Wild, you’ll love Tears of the Kingdom. It’s hard to believe that the previous game could’ve been expanded upon, but leave it to Nintendo to find a way to pull it off. The sheer number of things to do in Tears of the Kingdom is mind-boggling, and you will easily find yourself distracted from the main questline for long periods without even thinking about it. This won’t be the only review to tell you this, but Tears of the Kingdom is a must-play, and is a serious contender for Game of the Year.

The forever game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A game that not only makes you think, but you will always find something new you missed the first time. Hours, days, weeks and even months of endless entertaining game play. In this house, 3 generations enjoy playing. You will cry, you will laugh, you will run, and youll even scream out a warrior cry [especially when battling in the dark]. The satisfaction and sense of relaxation when playing this game is unmatched by others. You will not regret purchasing and playing. A game that you will never return.

If you loved BotW, you’ll love this
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing game that builds on the discovery and sandbox elements established in the BotW, and takes it to another level. This game is meant to be played at your own pace and your own time. There’s so much to do and see but it never really feels repetitive. Only complaint is the beautiful art style and world are held back by the Switch’s hardware. Environments can get a bit blurry and the frame rate can drop even lower than the max 30fps than the game runs at. If that isn’t a deal breaker than play this game !
