    2017's Breath of the Wild saw the Zelda series depart from its linear structure for a wide open sandbox where just about anything was possible. Tears of the Kingdom follows up on that structure, presenting even more ways to tame the wilds of Hyrule through a new building system, as well as weapon fusion and a host of other improvements.
