OK first things first do not update it!!!!!! The game can run all right without the updates, the reason I say this is because just like breath of the wild it can be a little annoying to grind… and if you don’t have Amiibo…… or anything similar to that then it’s going to take you a long time to get through certain parts of the story(especially considering they kept the weapon durability flaw) if you get this game as long as you don’t update it there are a lot of fun little exploits that can make the game easier

A fantastic sequel to a truly incredible game. It builds on the physics-based gameplay from Breath of The Wild and improves on nearly every facet of it. Everything that was great is made even better. Everything that was good is made great. Everything that was lacking is made better. There are still a few pieces of the classic Zelda formula that are missing from the modern games, but, nostalgia being pushed aside for truly open world game design, this is still absolutely a masterpiece of a game. The only valid criticism I find myself making is that it is hard to appreciate Breath of The Wild anymore, as it feels like an inferior copy of Tears of the Kingdom in every way- like it had to walk, so the sequel could run- or perhaps, it had to climb, so the sequel could soar.

even better than botw, and i really enjoy that game. the mechanics are updated and the story is very interesting! only problem is some past characters are left out, maybe i haven’t looked far enough though. 10/10

Amazing game. It's fun, it encourages creativity, there's endless exploration and experimentation. It makes Breath of the Wild - one of the most widely beloved games in recent memory - look like a tech demo.

Better than BOTW! The gameplay is amazing and the size of the map is huge. Love the story and auto-build allows for creative design of different weapons Link can build. I’d highly recommend this game.

Amazing game! Been playing it 24/7 since I got it! The story and gameplay are wonderful! The Zelda team at Nintendo have outdone themselves again and have made another huge impact on the gaming industry!

Fun game with many hours of gameplay. There’s a main story but you don’t feel like you have to follow it in a linear fashion and there’s a lot of smaller puzzles and exploring to be done.

So beautiful, fun, I'm obsessed. I played Breathe of the Wild and couldn't hold myself back from getting TOTK. I am not that far into it, there is so much to do! It's a stunning game.

Excellent game. Feels like a more finished version of breath of the wild. From the offset, you can tell that they took care of even small details like the game opening, in comparison to botw which, according to everyone, the whole point was to convey a minimalist atmosphere and increase the sense of wonder but in the process ended up feeling a little empty and underwhelming, and never really compensated for the lack of a grandiose opening as zelda has us accustomed to. Totk does a better job at introducing the game and raising the excitement. Link's new skills right off the start deliver a great amount of possibilities for creativity and even "pointless" fun...

The kind of quality entertainment I've come to expect from a Zelda title. Blown away by attention to detail and quality of life improvements. Creative story and innovative gameplay.

I pushed through the tutorial and took a break. Will be getting back at it again today. I absolutely love this game. Similar mechanics to botw with a list of new things to do.

A must have for any true fan. Stunning graphics, an awesome story and I am always excited to see what new toys they have for Link to use during his adventures!

Incredible game that gives you the freedom to play it the way you want to. The new mechanics are super fun and the story of this new Zelda timeline pulls you in. It's worth 100% of the $70 price tag. I've gotten lost in the land of Hyrule every time I boot up my switch. The story has a slight disconect with Breath of the Wild, but the plot holes are filled in with the true grandiose of the rest of the game. I found myself feeling bitter about a few things at the beginning of the game that didn't make sense when compared to the last one, but those feelings are swept away once I start actually playing.

Fantastic game. Feels fresh as compared to BotW. New mechanics really make this game unique. Is the perfect game for explorers and completionists.

Fun game to play. Fitting sequel to BOTW. Ultra hand is fun to use, fuse too. The art style is also good and really pushes the limits of what the switch can do.

If you played Breath of The Wild, you will love this game as well. 10/10 technical masterpieces as well as story line. This is a must buy game if you love Zelda.

It's Breath of the Wild but More and Better. Generally speaking if you liked the first game you'll like this one, as both its additions and changes are almost without exception improvements. And if you didn't like Breath of the Wild, then you won't like Tears of the Kingdom, simple as that. I, for one, loved the first game, so Tears is very much shaping up to be one of my favorite games. There are definitely still criticisms I could make, but they feel like such small things in the face of the overall package that I can't help but give this a glowing recommendation.

This is arguably the best game on the Nintendo Switch. This is a polished and refined sequel of BOTW, throwing us back once again into the world of Hyrule to discover many things have in fact changed. Despite the limiting hardware, TOTK is as ambitious of a title you will ever find, and the efforts of Aonuma, Monolith, and everyone involved in the game really show. Stellar game. Also kudos to BB. Was worried my preorder wouldn’t come on launch day, but it did. So thanks Best Buy and thank you postal service delivery men & women for a perfect launch day.
