Beautiful game and art style. The gameplay is enough to last hundreds of hours with so much to explore and experience. They took everything from Breath of the Wild and deepened it. The combat is so well thought out and the ability to create powerful weapons and vehicles seems almost unlimited.

Same as the first BOTW zelda GAME, this version is the second best game of all time from the Zelda games, I will recommend continue playing if you really like the BOTW

I don’t even want to exaggerate, but this might be the greatest video game ever made. Exploration, mystery, fun combat, is all here. It’s a reinvention of everything Breath of the Wild did right, to the point where now both an open world fan AND an old school Zelda fan will find fun everywhere

I was very happy with Best Buy's online ordering process. I ordered the new Zelda game online and requested to pick it up at my local store when it was ready. Within 30 minutes they had a copy of the game reserved for me and they said they would hold it for me for 5 days. Not that I needed that much time to go pick it up, but having that window made me feel safe when I couldn't make it there the day I ordered it and picked it up the day after. I do not regret buying this game from Best Buy one bit. The gameplay is excellent and there was no defects in my copy that I have found so far. So far I definitely enjoy this game. It is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild and the gameplay and plot has a similar style to its predecessor but has many differences also so it is not too repetitive. If you're looking for a new place to buy video games now that there aren't any GameStops close by, I definitely recommend purchasing your video games from Best Buy.

    TOTK feels like BOTW+

Tears of the kingdom does an excellent job of extending the lore of Breath of the Wild. I wasnt sure how much earthbound play would be included, since BOTW took us everywhere on the map. I should have never doubted. Years have passed and Link and Zelda are thrown into new perilous adventures. This time, the historic Hyrule kingdom comes to life like never before. With nods to lore characters and the others making their debut, TOTK feels like rediscovering home. In the sky, topside or in the upside down…you’re adventure awaits. NOTE: While BOTW is not an essential entry point, going backwards would be quite frustrating. There are tweaks in game play, but also lore carried over from the recent past that you might miss. The writers/designers filled these holes pretty well, but there are sure to be places that leave you scratchimg your head. . My family and i all agree. BOTW is the best starting point, even if you speed run it.

Tears of the Kingdom does an admirable job of building on the foundation of 2017's Breath of the Wild. You explore the same game world, but there are new caves, sky islands, shrines, dungeons, enemies, and more that improve the actual game experience. The addition of Zonai devices allows the player to make both simple and complex machines to accomplish various exploration and combat challenges. I've seen entire games dedicated to this type of creation fail completely, but Tears of the Kingdom manages to implement this almost seamlessly, and with a fairly straightforward user interface. I'm not thrilled with the overall story, and I feel like its continuity with Breath of the Wild and the overall Zelda timeline leaves me scratching my head sometimes, but there are few games that I'd rather spend 115 hours playing than Tears of the Kingdom.

Incredible game. It has elements of many mainstream titles all packaged in a game of Zelda. The map is Huge. There are so many things to do. Some titles like assassins creed give you endless boring tasks. In Zelda the t rewards make it worth it. You need to use your brain for the puzzles. Whether it be how yo get a chest out of the river or manipulating objects to get you where you need to go. It has it all.

So far I'm really enjoying this Zelda game. Everyone was worried it would be just a repeat and maybe meant for children but no this is so much fun so much more adventuring and your creative abilities to be resourceful is amazing and so much fun to experiment with. 12/10 would recommend.

My boys (14 & 18) love this game! They have a great time playing the game and talking about all the cool stuff they found or challenges they solved. The game has a great story line and updated feature from the last game. Tons of fun and it will take them all summer to beat the game!

Overall, excellent game. Cons: --It's rated "E10" but I think parts of it seem more "T" rated than "E10" rated in my opinion - for instance, it's way more difficult than it's predecessor, "Breath of the Wild" (which is also "E10") both in combat and exploration. Also, there is a fairly scary cutscene toward the beginning of the game that's unskippable as far as I can tell. Finally, there are some very scary monsters in this game (more scary than any Zelda game I've played) - such as "gloom hands" (I know there's a more official name for them than that, but that's what everyone's nicknamed them), and very fast crawling/ flying monsters named "Gibdos" - and you have to combat both sets of monsters more than once in order to progress the story, they're not optional/ skippable. They are also extremely difficult to combat. --It seems to be a darker feeling game than Breath of the Wild. --It seems more cultic than Breath of the Wild. --There's also inflation in this game - the items to buy in the game cost more than they did in Breath of the Wild, but things like gems/ loot to sell are worth less in the shops than in Breath of the Wild. There are also less loot to find in this game than Breath of the Wild. --Not as polished in some areas as Breath of the Wild- for instance, in this game your weapons go right through the ground when carrying them on your back which kind of looks like the game is unfinished. Pros: -- there's an extensive map with 4 levels - sky, earth, caves, and depths (there are 3 maps you get - earth and caves are found on the earth level map, sky map, and depths map). I like the caves level the most (it's where you find the most loot and I think they're fun). --There's also lots of Easter eggs from other Zelda games. --Like it's predecessor, Breath of the Wild, you have to unlock the maps through discovery, and opening up towers (earth map, and now in TOTK also sky map). In addition, in TOTK you know also have to open up lightroots (depths map). When you open up earth map you also open sky and caves levels. It's nice, in my opinion, that overall the earth map matched the one found in Breath of the Wild, because it made the game feel more apart of the same universe and also helped one know where overall major areas would be even prior to opening up areas through the towers. --There's lots of opportunities to get to build / craft your own vehicles and stuff (through ultrahand special ability) and your own special arrows/ weapons/ shields (through fuse special ability). At times though, I would have liked to have preset elemental arrows to buy/ find /use like in Breath of the Wild. Also at times I would like premade vehicles to find/ buy so that if one is not wishing to build during a particular game time/day, one wouldn't have to build. Overall, TOTK is a great game.

This game is a masterpiece and there is so much to do, it’s almost infinite. There are many different ways to be creative and solve puzzles or do tasks, you are given the freedom to play in your own way. Beware, this game is addictive and it’s easy to put hours and hours into it.

The ultimate Legend of Zelda experience. Seemingly endless play, a great story and what could be the Switch’s best looking game. They could use this to teach STEM in school, with its myriad problem solving abilities, it can help folks think outside the box. A masterpiece for sure.

TotK is a must own for any Legend of Zelda fan! The mechanics stay relatively the same from BotW, but this time the world actually paints a story of the characters and land development. There is so much to do in the game that Zelda might be waiting for a while.

This game is fantastic. Not sure why but I chose not to watch any trailers for it and expected it to be a continuation of the first game, same abilities, same features, etc. Turns out they added a ton of new features, abilities, and content. Incredibly happy with my purchase.
