Epic movie series and purchasing this blu Ray pack for a great price is well worth it. Buy this set instead of each movie by yourself to save 10 to 20 dollars depending on sales!

This is a solid set of the theatrical versions of all three Lord of the Rings movies. It is light on extras, but you get all three films at a great price.

these movies may be hard to follow first time watching this is a series that you have to watch more than once gets better every time I re-watch

The Lord of Rings Trilogy is a great combination of the Rings movies. It successfully tells the story of the quest for the Ring and the wars that were fought over it.

I own the lord of the rings trilogy in DVDs but I just finished the hobbit trilogy so I had to get lord of the rings in blu ray to fully experience this awesome series.

I heard that this story was written by a Christian and I wanted to check it out. I could relate it to pilgrims progress. It does have a lot of violence.

Had all three of the movies on individual Blu-ray disks, just what I was looking for at a great price. Cheaper than buying all three by themselves.

yeah, it's the theatrical version. you know that when you buy them. Since it was on sale, I went ahead and got them. still as awesome as I remember.

I love this trilogy. Only thing I don’t like is it didn’t come with the digital copy’s. Which I knew when I bought this. Couldn’t find them grrrr

Not much can be said about the trilogy that has not been already said. All the 3 movies in the series are good. This is a bare-bone set though.

Saw this when it came out and was fortunate enough to be in New Zealand during the time the third one came out so I got to see all the fanfare and props.
