I finally bought this album after years of contemplation. I was not disappointed. Her singing is as good as her singing with the Fugees. This CD is her turn to shine in the spotlight. The music still sounds contemporary and is a pleasure to listen to even with repeated listenings.

This Cd is over 20 years old but I just had to own a copy of my own. I purchased one of the last two in stock and I felt so lucky. I love the album, I listen to it evetyday. Timeless music ...

I have been looking far and wide for another copy of this album, and I was lucky enough to find it at one of the best stores around.

This album has some great R&B and soul singing and also some amazing raw rapping from the great Lauryn Hill

This CD is great, a classic hip hop/RnB album that any music lover should have in their catalog.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of the oldie but goodie albums. It is a CD you can listen to on your off day to just relax.

I purchased this CD because the one I had years ago mysteriously disappeared from my house (I guess a family member or friend loved it like I did). When I saw it in the store I was like "YEEESSSS"!!! I have been playing it every night at bedtime. I relaxes me so much. No more bubbling brooks and other sleep sounds to help me sleep. Just give me Lauryn Hill.

Lauryn Hill is one of those musicians who can genuinely pull off the funky hip-hop old R&B sound while having something more realistic to say about love. Give it a listen, you won't stop jamming out to it. Stand out tracks are lost ones, to zion, and doo wop (that thing). I only wish she released more throughout her career. This album is truly a classic and I was glad to see Best Buy selling it at a great price in store.

Although this album was released in 1998 it stills sounds fresh and relevant in 2019. It uses cool sound bites of a high school teacher interacting with his students between tracks. This makes the CD particularly enjoyable if you can take the time to sit down and listen from start to finish. A great value in the $5.00 bin at BestBuy!

I am working backwards. I saw Lauren Hill sing the songs of Nina Simon on the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show and have been interested in her since. So seeing her first solo cd from 20 years ago available in the Best Buy bargain bin was a find. More rap than interpretation, but a good education for me to watch her growth as an artist.

I like Lauren Hill music. Finding this classic cd of her was a gem.
