The only memorable thing about this cult favorite is Tom Hanks' wonderful comic turn. The movie around him? Eh. I think people who love it only do because they grew up watching it on HBO. Nostalgia's a powerful thing. The Blu-ray is similarly shrug-worthy.

Movie is ok, transfer is good, nothing spectacular but a step up from the DVD. For fans of the movie at the right price.

Not very funny; bit stupid. One can watch it if there is nothing else to do.

If you're a fan of Big, Bachelor Party, The 'Burbs or Turner and Hooch this is a great Tom Hanks classic. Lots of slapstick, comedy of error and one-liners that make for a fun movie night. Shelley Long is also funny and look out for spots with Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) and Alexander Gudonov (Die Hard).

The Money Pit is one of the funniest Tom Hanks ever made. If you need a laugh then The Money Pit is the movie for you.

Sure The Money Pit wasn't exactly a critical hit back in the day, but I'm so glad to be able to finally watch this in high-def and retire my DVD. The picture quality isn't terrible though i wish there was more bonus material but I'll take what I can get!

Smart,very funny seeing hanks take all the abuse.But before buying you must either be a Tom Hanks fan or can appreciate 80s movies or you won't enjoy this film.

Even though it's not on 4k or blu-ray I still loved this movie!

I've been dying for some more of Tom's works to be released on Blu-ray. This didn't disappoint!
