Great album!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great album with a very unique vocal approach. They have 3 different vocalists and each lends a great performance. One of my new favorite bands. Solid start to finish. And Elise is very pleasing on the eyes.

A Gift CD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't rate the CD personally--it's a gift for my son who really likes their music and asked for this CD as a Christmas present. So if you like this genre, you will like this CD (according to my son).

BLOWN AWAY!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I stumbled across this album upon a Pandora recommendation being a big Dream Theater, Kamelot, and Nightwish fan and I was absolutely blown away by these guys! It's not progressive as I typically go for, but it's saturated with talent and an incredible blend of high energy modern electronica and metal. They have three lead singers with different abilities. Fronted mainly by female vocalist Elize Ryd she is joined by two other male singers. Jake E does the clean male vocals and Andreas Sovenstrom does the screaming. Why is this awesome? Because most other bands featuring screaming vocals such as Asking Alexandria or All That Remains have the same guy doing both which doesn't work very well. The screaming takes too much of a toll on the vocals live and ruins his clean voice so when he tries to sing live, the clean vocals are generally pitchy and weak whereas this band has nailed it. As far as sound I would describe them as if Kamelot, Static-X, and Asking Alexandria had a love child with a female lead singer. They have a great blend of all three vocals which give them a dynamic sound to sound super heavy at times and then metal pop at other times. The entire thing is very high energy and an audio assault from start to finish. The musicians are super talented. The guitar work is done cleanly and very well. Although the drummer makes it sound easy, don't be fooled, he is doing some very technical time signatures and doing some more technical beat work even in the standard 4 or 2 times. The way they couple the computer electronica with the heavy sound is done better than I've heard many bands. Don't misunderstand, it's not dub step so you're not gonna get Korn with a DJ sound. I definitely recommend this album for those who love female vocals with heavy melodic metal. Frankly, I just found my new work out album!
