Was it short? Yes. The only thing that hurt it was lack of extra content and MP. The game is extremely polished and good story. More control and a little less linear would've been nice, but picking it up on sale and trading it in ended up paying $15 for it, so that's not a bad deal. Plus easy Platinum to pad your stats.

The Order 1886 is a 5-6 hour experience that suffers from major pacing issues. I would recommend this purchase at 20$ or wait until its inevitably free on PS+. The cover based mechanics are fine and the game looks fantastic. The story does seem to set up for a sequel.

The game has the most amazing graphics you'll ever see, however the story is as forgettable as the characters. The weapons and environments are extremely unique, but it's not enough to make me want to re-experience the game. There's just nothing memorable about this game.

The game's story is beautiful and has an awesome camera system. The system allows the player to pause the game and move the camera around the surrounding level. The controls are smooth and don't feel forced. The new technology in an old age setting is nice! I would have given it an excellent review but the lack of open world and NPC population is sparse. An added element of immersion is needed.

I read prior reviews that stated that this was a short game. That did not deter me, if fact quite the opposite. Sometimes games are too long so you never get around to finishing them. I loved the look and style of the game so had to get it. It didn't disappoint. It was a game that I wanted to keep playing until the end.

This is by far the best looking ps4 game but it does have a lot of movie to watch.

The biggest problem this game has is the expectations that proceeded it. No, it's not Uncharted, Gears of War, or The Last of Us, nor does it even try to be. Its emphasis is on story and atmosphere, and while it may not do an exceptional job, it is very polished and rarely stumbles. Somehow, being linear became a bad thing in gaming. I don't know why; not every game should be open world.

"The Order" is a great game i would say play it on hard difficulty because you'll probably only play through the game once. With the harder difficulty setting you'll get more play time out of the game. Considering how short the game is don't pay full price for the game. Buy it for $40 or less and it is worth the money

Don't believe all of the negativity that this game has received. It is truely one of the most breath taking next generation titles available. Nothing else can compare to the graphics of this game. The story is excellent and sets up for Ready at Dawn to continue the series as one of the freshest new IPs in the industry.
