Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The story line for this game was amazing it seem like movie but the game was way to short. Really dispoint how short this game was. it dont make any sense they would make game this short. the most i would pay for this game is 30 and thats putting it. Beautiful looking game, controls not that great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game itself is beautiful, and original in theme. Unfortunately, it doesn't bring anything new to the FPS genre beyond it's esthetics, and the controls need tweaking to match the top of the line FPS games already in the wild. I got it for a very good price, and would recommend it to anyone that can get it for sub $25; otherwise I would pass. I am marking "yes" for recommend with that caveat.

Great game!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good game although it may be slow for some people. I am on Chapter 3 and there is still a lot of game left. I am soaking in the environment around me when I play since the graphics are simply amazing in this game! The story is good and reminds me of a movie (black bars on the top and bottom to make it appear widescreen, which is cool). Like I was saying it may be slow for some gamers because it does have cut-scenes but so far they haven't been too long. However, you need to be paying attention because the game can prompt you to take action at any time. The shooting is realistic and the targets tend to move around quickly so make your shots count. (The mentally ill people are fast and they don't hesitate to shoot!!!). I hope this developer is working on a sequel to this game because I would buy it. The only flaws are it would be great to interact with the environment more and some kind of online multiplayer mode would be great for the next game!

Good Entry with Loads of Potential
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ready at Dawn is a very good studio that has made good games for portable systems, and this was their first at a major console release. The game showed they are still a very good studio that just needs more experience at this type of releases. As for the game: it's fun and worth checking out the lower price. The game is beautiful. It's one of the most gorgeous games you can play. The gunplay is very good and there is a lot of variety with the guns. The story is intriguing and makes you want to learn more as it plays. And the length of the game is not an issue. It is longer than a lot of people said it was. With that said, the game isn't perfect. As fun as the gunfights are, they are spaced out too much. There could be more of it to show off the mechanics. Like my title says: this was a good first try/entry by Ready at Dawn, and it shows the potential in the franchise/studio.

Great but kinda short
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphics are hands down the best I've seen on PS4, and the gameplay and cutscenes flows together fairly well (sometimes a little rough but nothing too bad). My main problem is with how short the game felt. Maybe that's because I got wrapped up with the game, not entirely sure. Movement (of character) mechanics could use some tweaks but otherwise, can't complain too much.

Short but sweet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily the best looking game I have seen on a PS4 to date. The shooting is solid enough and it controls well enough. My biggest gripe is there just isn't a lot of content or replayability. However I enjoyed my time with it and can recommend it if you get it on sale.

for under $20 it's fantastic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is ok. Too short and a little boring to be worth paying the full $60 for. but at $20 and especially $15 ($12 if youre gamer's club unlocked member) the game is worth buying. It's beautiful to look at even though my only complaint about graphics is that characters don't have reflections in mirrors. The story is decent and the different weapons are also pretty cool. There's not much variety in the combat/boss battles, but if they ever decide to make a sequel and learn/apply from what went wrong with this entry, I think there's a lot of potential for a great series.

The Best Interactive Movie You'll Play All Year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say I'd call The Order a video game, but it may just be the best tech demo you'll play all year. I'm only about half way through but I can tell you right now a lot of the negative reviews out there will touch on the "gameplay" or lack there of. This game is heavy on QTE #Quick Time Events# - Press Square, Press X, Tap X, etc. There are shooting and other action sections which are quite enjoyable, but for the most part it's QTEs. If you hate these or are looking for a more run & gun action storyline this game is not for you. It's also rather short from what I've read #5-6 hours# but if you take your time like me you could easily stretch it between 8-9. And while I can't comment on any end game replayability since I haven't beaten yet, it seems quite shallow if anything at all. The one positive? This is the best looking game on next gen consoles yet. It's beautiful. So good that it makes you wish you actually had a game to care about while watching The Order. It set out to be the next Heavy Rain and while it succeeded in looks it failed on story. If you can find it for a good price, $35 would be my sweet spot, pick it up. At worst it could be THE showcase game to show off your system to any non-gamers. If you're looking to pay full price and expect a full SP/MP experience you will be sorely disappointed.

its like a vain model that looks good only outside
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a amazing graphical game but the gameplay is mediocre at best. Its a trend too often in AAA games. I only bought the game brand new from gamestop since i already had credit and didn't have to pay out of my pocket. I traded the game in 2 days later after finishing it on hard in 9 hrs. 3 hrs of the game was cutscenes and the rest wasn't all that fun except in spurts. I felt too many times i wasn't in control of the game and the game mechanics are archaic an the boss fights were QTE infested and not fun. The boss fights were too easy and once again the same theme of not feeling like you are in control of the fight but timing QTE prompts. I really hope Sony exclusives step it up by the end of this yr. I love AAA(big budget and large open on linear scope games) succeed. I would hate to see my $400 for pS4 go towards a bunch of 2d sprite riddled indie games. I like some indie games but i don't want it to dominant the video game market. The question on the review was would i recommend this game to a friend. I said no but i would recommend them too look at it instead of play it since it feels like a movie.

Amazing game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is amazing. The visuals, audio, voicework, and detail that went into this game is hard to compare with anything else. The game tells a compelling story, with a slow meticulous pace. If you're into slower paced games like the last of us, metal gear, or life is strange, this will suit you well. It's not action heavy trigger happy gameplay. If you have a short attention span, your time will be spent elsewhere. If you appreciate deliberate pacing and immense details and subtlety, this is an amazing experience.

Great game but very short
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has a solid story and amazing gameplay and visuals, arguably the best looking console game to date! The gunplay feels great and the movement is really smooth, everything about this game is great, except.....the length. This game is approximately 8 hours long, for a game that only has single player, I expected more. For a game this stunning and good story and great gameplay, I wanted more.

Good for a Play Session or Two
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This should have been a launch title. It's one of the best, if not the best, looking games on the PS4. In regard to the core third-person shooting experience, it's also pretty good. The game also has some really cool weapons and the overall concept for the game is also really cool. However, the game is really short. Too much time is dedicated to cinematics. Also, there's terrible QTE sections. If you can get it for $5.00, or lower, I think you'll have a good time for a play session or two.

1st real next gen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game overall. This is the first real next gen game. Graphics are great with a solid story (maybe not on old tv but on a 4k! ). The game is short but not like anything I've ever played on a console. Is an easy platinum also. A must have for all ps4 owners.

The Order 1886 Review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really beautiful game with great characters and fun gameplay. The setting of 1886 Victorian London is fresh and interesting, as there is an amazing amount of detail in the world and scenery. The game also refreshes the QTE system by allowing the player to choose what to interact with as they perform the action. In addtion, the sound design is top notch and the soundtrack really compliments the look and feel of the game. This game screams "next-gen."

Good Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is fun. Graphics are the best i have seen on PS4/Xbox 1. and gameplay is solid. There are things that could have been added to the game to make it better but this is a good start to a game that I hope has at least 2 more to come. Adding co op and multi player would be great. Also allowing more interaction with things in the game is something I would like to see in the next game. I haven't finished the game yet so I can't say how short it is but so far I am having fun which is the most important thing to me when gaming.

Game was beautiful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was reluctant on buying this game when it came out due to average reviews, but I recently decided to buy it and it wow this game was awesome! The game was beautiful in every way. I couldn't have asked for a better game, besides making it a little longer. The game was so good i didnt want it to end. Definitely buy this game if you have not played it yet, you won't regret it.
