This game makes the ps4 look SO amazing. However it becomes a linear story with some quick button action spots. Very short amounts of shootouts. Would of been much better game if it was a little bit more open world. If you want to see the full potential of the PS4. This is your game.

Not only is this game the most beautiful game I've played but it was pretty enjoyable for the 7 and a half hours it took me and my friend to play through the entire game. The game play is alright, nothing that we really haven't seen before in a third person shooter but the sound is well done in this game making it even more like a cinema experience. Highly recommended for anyone that has a project setup, it will look AMAZING!

You're gonna be watching this game much more than playing it. Fairly short even by fps standards. Don't go for the collectors edition, steelbook case is the worst I've ever had and has nothing on the binding to tell you what game it even is, cheap hinges broke immediately. Statue is lackluster and requires some assembly.

this game is a huge disappointment, its slow and boring, it takes 6-8 hours to finish and most of that is cutscene or slow walking from place to place. The game looks fantastic but its not worth playing.

O.K., honestly, no bull, this game blows. If you like 2 minutes of shooting and 5 minutes of cinema, this game is for you. That is the nicest thing I can say about this game, the movies are beautiful, but I bought a game, not a movie, or do I thought. The game play dates to the 80s, you stumble around, looking at clues that have zip to do with the story, or you hit the triangle and watch a movie of the hero doing a combo move! HEY, I want to play the game! The story is good, if not a little transparent, but that does not make up for the very mediocre game play. NOT WORTH 60 BUCKS!

I waited many months for this game, I love the gameplay the only draw back can be the times when you can't do anything cause of the story but I guess that's what makes it a good game compared to others like it.

I was so let down by this game. The game play is not good. In fact I got bored with it very quickly. I bought this at the same time I bought "the last of us". After a couple of hours I became bored with 1886. There is so little you can control. It's like watching a movie. After completing "the last of us" I had no desire to even go back and play 1886. The game play doesn't even compare. Rent it from the redbox, don't waste your hard earned money on this.

It's really fun game. Reviewers dropped the ball on this. Let's be honest their not professionals. I hope you enjoy this fun action adventure game.

This game is awful. Yes it's a short game and can be beat in 10 hours or less, but that's not the main problem. The controls are clunky, most of the game is cut scenes with a thousand mini games, and it's boring. The only good thing about this game is that it looks great. Not worth it. Stay away.

One of the worst games I've played on the ps4. I purchased this day one and had to force myself to complete the game. No replay value, poor story, more cinematics than actual gameplay, and extremely linear with no alternate paths to explore. Do not purchase but rent if you must.

excellent graphics, but the story line can be better, and also too much cut scenes

This game is a perfect representation of my experience with the PS4. All hype, huge letdown. People keep saying, "Just wait, the games are coming!". Well, a year and half later, I'm done waiting. Time to sell this mediocre box and get as much of my money back as I can.

The graphics are great. Outside of that, the game is pretty awful. The story is boring, the enemy AI is brain dead, and the shooting mechanics were done better years ago with the original Gears of War. I really wanted to like this game, but it's just not good.

This game is an art masterpiece...great story line and playes like a movie.

Overall, the game is quite short. I enjoyed it overall and look forward to a sequel.

Yet another great saga type game, this time featuring advance weaponry in a time when it should not exist. A really enjoyable all action game that makes you want to keep on playing.

Visually and aesthetically its a gorgeous and ambitious game, but lengthwise and quality leaves a lot to wish for, it you are you looking for something to admire as eye candy I recommend, but if you plan on getting hours and hours of game play this is not for you as I completed a full 100% play trough with 100% trophies in 7 hours total.
