I have no idea how morn, after all this time can still make music really energetic and just really good. This album is full of songs that make you want to headband and Jonathan Davis continues to kill it with the lyrics. Must buy for korn fans or anybody who wants a good heavy album with good lyrics.

Maybe best since Take A Look In The Mirror

For their latest release, The Serenity Of Suffering, Korn essentially cranks out an album that plays to their strengths. While it isn't a throwback to their earliest error, it plays like a kindred spirit to albums like Untouchables with its moodiness and generally heavier sounds than most of their work from the last few albums, which touched more on funk-rock and dubstep. This is Korn being Korn, and there really isn't anything wrong with that. Sure, I would have liked to see a bit in the way of experimentation, and the bagpipes might have been a welcome addition, but if you were a fan of the first six widely released albums, you'll dig this one. This is the first album since returning where Brian "Head" Welch has been more involved with composition and arrangements, and it shows.

Korn's best since Take a Look in the Mirror and in my opinion, the best overall album since Untouchables. Taking the most queues from Issues and Take a Look in the Mirror, The Serenity of Suffering is an excellent Korn album that will be instantly familiar to long-time fans. Nearly everything you love about Korn is here with no filler at all. I would have loved a few more tracks and possibly a longer "final" track, but otherwise this is a fantastic Korn album.

    Korn's Best Work In Years

It's been a long time since I truly wanted to listed to a Korn album from beginning to end. But this one is an exception. This is a great album. There are a couple moments in here where the heavier parts seem a bit "forced", but literally only a couple and the rest of the album more than makes up for it! We've also seen these guys twice in in recent months and their live shows are a must see!

I bought this album because I am a fan of Korn, had been for a while now. I was starting to get a little disappointed with them lately though as they seemed to be more experimental with things rather than sticking to their roots. This album finally brings them back to their roots and what they are known for. If you like Korn around the "Untouchables" era, this one is for you.

I highly recommended Korn's The Serenity of Suffering to anyone who is a Korn fan! It is hard to pin down which song is my favorite since this album didn't leave my cd player for about three weeks but I would have to say Rotting in Vain would be my choice. The whole album is dark, heavy and it sounds like Korn used when they first came out! Get this album!!

Korn hit a homer in win this album! I have to say that it is one of my favorites from them. The music is always heavy and Jonathan Davis' vocals are incredibly well done. I bought this on a whim when I was shopping at Best Buy and was glad that I did so. It was well worth my money! I can't wait to hear where Korn takes their next album!

Serenity of Suffering brought back staples from the vintage Korn. Fields is tearing up the base...J. Davis is hitting heavy growls and then melodic interludes between heavy riffs from the guitars. This album is A++. Guest vocalist Corey Taylor throws down some heavy stuff with Davis that is truly amazing!! Album is a must have!!

One of my new favorite albums.. This album is awesome! Each track from beginning to end is great.. It has a classic KoRn sound mixed with their new KoRn sound. By far one of my favorite albums in my opinion and I've been a fan and I have every album since they started.. been a long time fan and this is a definite must buy...

I have been listening to KoRn since their self-titled album was released. Each album has multiple songs that I like. There is one exception: KoRN III: Remember Who You Are. I cannot listen to that album. I like most songs on the SOS album. One of the first ones that caught on was "Take Me". "Insane" took a while to grow on me. I did not like the vocals (sorry, Jonathan--not that he'd ever see this). Overall, I do like this album.

Lots of good songs on this album, including: Rotting in Vain (Great live and a great single from the record) Black is the Soul - personal favorite on the album A different world - great song featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot Those are my Top 3 but every song is worth a listen.

I loved the new direction they took with The Paradigm Shift. But this album I think has a nice blend of that sound with some of the older Korn sound (Follow the Leader to Untouchables era). I was really looking forward to this album and it did not disappoint.

Granted KoRn is my favorite band so I might be a little biased but this is easily their best album to date. They said it would be a heavy album and they delivered 100%. They have seriously outdone themselves and for fans of the genre this album is a must own.
