I've been playing the Sims for longer than I'd like to admit, so I was excited to check out the Sims 4. They took a few features out, but compensated with better graphics and simpler building. Build mode, is awesome. It's also pretty cool that you can now click and drag directly on a Sims face in create mode to change their features.

The Sims4 is just a progressively better version of the Sims3. I enjoy the game, I've only found one thing that I wished there were an easier way to fix - moving a sim out of a household while keeping the other members of the household at the current lot. Otherwise, it aways has been and continues to be my favorite game!

I have never played a Sims game prior to this one. This was a very different type of game than I am used to playing so the learning curve was pretty big for me. I had almost no idea what to do when I started playing and unlike most games I've played, there were little instructions or directions. I ended up restarting a few times once I learned how to play to get the best experience. I do like that you can design a variety of different character types and personalities. And you can do so many different things in the game. If you've played The Sims before, this should be an easy upgrade for you. The gameplay is smooth, loading is quick, and the NPCs are all interesting. There are plenty of options for homes, clothes, and items. Once you've played though as far as you want, start over with new and creative characters and do it again.

I have been a Simmer since the very first game came out in 2000. I have seen the franchise do many amazing things with this game. When TS4 was being touted to be an improvement over TS3, I was skeptical. First, they took out our toddlers, pools, terrain sculpting, move objects, and multi-level foundations. I was not impressed by these things. Even for all the new things they said they added... mainly "Emotions!" I was not going to buy it, but the Simmer in me decided to give it a go. First off, I am more of a builder than a player, and I must say, that building is lack-luster to me. I just can't get into it like I did in TS3. Though some of the new elements are nice (roof sculpting, multi level walls and foundations, windows that can be placed anywhere along the vertical axis. But, the lack of design choices, the bulky cartoony style of furniture, nothing really matches really gets to me. I just can't build and decorate like I could in TS3. Now, I find myself getting into game play a bit more. I do go back and forth between its predecessor and this game, because I do LOVE to build, but I have always found the game play part in 3 to be boring. 4 is not boring at all. I laugh quite a bit at some of the things my simmies do. If you have a fast enough computer, this game is pretty great... for game play only. Builders, I would suggest sticking with 3 for that and just use EA's prebuilts or someone's in the gallery.

I have always enjoyed my Sims games and Sims 4 is no exception. Lots of new features, additions and gratphics are great but I do miss the family tree, pools, and a tiny few original items. Travel is a bit of a pain. Also map seems small. I gave it 4 stars because it's fun and I'm a fan.

This game is a more detailed Sims like it was advertised. The Sims have the ability to do multiple things at once like actual people, such as eat and watch TV, and there is the ability to travel between towns. Everything is just so detailed down to creating your Sims and even how they feel about and react to other Sims.

I'm not sure why you should even bother with buying the disc. You have to be connected to the Internet to download it. The disk has only the program to download it on it. The second disk I still don't know what it is for. The game itself seems to be a hit with my son, it just took forever to download.

I bought this as I have liked the previous games and it seems like they just keep getting better and better. I just wish the expansion/stuff packs were a bit cheaper. Overall a great game for those who have like the previous ones

Big changes from the early SIMS days. So many options, it can take quite a while to 'get started' build, furnish decorate, outfit your sims personalities etc...But quite well put together and great time waster! I mean that in a good way. Quite entertaining.

The graphics are pretty good, but I'm taking off a start because they did away with an open-world concept. I like this game ok, but i hate having to load groups of lots again. Probably will continue to play the Sims 3.

We bought this for our teenage daughter. She has owned the previous 3 editions. She plays this game as often as she can and really likes some of the new graphics and features. If you are a Sims PC fan, you will not be disappointed in their newest edition.

I bought this for my son as a birthday present. I played it before I gave it to him just to be sure about the ratings. Typical Sims, better graphics. More interaction. No quite my specialty but a good game regardless.

Got this price matched from Target for $30, and used a $5 reward certificate. The amount of crazy stuff you can do is amazing in this game. Cow plants? And building a sim is fun in itself! It actually looks like me!

I bought this for my daughter after she saw a preview of it. She loves it. She would play it for hours if I let her. It did crash one time but EA helped me restore it. No biggie.

The possibilities to create sims and houses are endless with the new features and look of this new sims. Been playing for 15 years, it's really cool to see what it has become.
