I've been waiting for the original SMILE to come out ever since 1967. I have numerous bootlegs of the sessions, so I knew how good it was. But to finally have the finished original album in my hands, along with all the extras is amazing. All the hype you might have heard over the years about the legendary SMILE is true!! It really is one of the greatest pop albums ever conceived. ESSENTIAL for any music fan of the 1960's. Brian Wilson was the only musician The Beatles considered to be on a par with them - now you will know why.

I have always been a beach boys fan & had collected every album they put out since their first one in the early 60's. I was excited to hear that SMILE Sessions was being released but what a dissappontment it was. Just a compilation of junk that couldn't be made into a hit album. I listened to the first CD and packed the whole thing back up and put it in my closet. Big waste of money. The only things of value are the nostalgic vinyls and notes. Too bad Carl Wilson put out such a bad product when he is such a musical genius.
