What a great family actioned packed movie! Such a good adaptation from the game! A must see!

The box came with the 4k Bluray, Regular Bluray, and Digital code as promised. The bonus content / behind the scenes content was a nice and interesting addition. The personalcaveats are language choice and the digital download. It’s always great to have a good selection of languages for accessibilty, but sometimes even to just hear the VA talent of other languages is great too. I was hoping to hear the Japanese cast, but I guess since the movie didn’t yet play in Japan when this dvd set released so Japanese wasn’t/isn’t available as a language. The second caveat would be digital download for mobile devices. The download is available via a downloaded app, which the code is for, rather than a direct digital download through the default media app on most mobile devices like itunes etc. So thats an additional account added to you email to keep track of if that sort of thing bothers you. Other than those personal caveats it’s a great product.

I’ve been a longtime Mario fan since I was a kid playing the original Super Mario Bros on NES. I’ve grew up watching the original SMBs cartoons and even watched the awful 1st movie back on the 90’s lol. I have to say that this is by far the best Super Mario movie to date. It looks goergous on 4k, its funny, my kids love watching it over and over! I picked it up on Black Friday special for $10 so i got an amazing deal. I would pay full prize for this movie if I didn’t find such a good deal. A must add to your collection, especially for Super Mario fans! Even if you are not, the story and visuals are enough to keep you laughing and entertained, while showing off your 4k TV because it looks that good.

Having played almost every game my entire life I went in with high expectations and came out beyond pleased with how they made this movie and I was skeptical at first when they first announced it. Chris Pratt was an odd choice at first, but he did a great job as did everyone else. The animation was beautiful as always when it comes to Illumination movies. Universal has an excellent track record when it comes to their 4k releases and this one is no different, the HDR makes the film look even better. Great audio that sounded almost as good as it did in the theater . I did buy this on release day so I paid full price but if you are willing to wait I highly suggest picking this up if you're a Mario fan I can't wait to see the sequel.

If you are a BIG fan of The Super Mario Franchise With Nintendo, you are definitely going to love this movie! Its very colorful and has very nice high Resolution graphics. The audio is fantastic when it comes to explosions and water sounds etc using Dolby Atmos. Now when it comes to the story plot, i do feel like they could have done better and i will not talk about the choice of voice actors chosen to play the characters. Im rating my review on the Graphics, vibrant colors and audio sound. Anyways i hope my review helps you make the purchase of this movie. Its definitely a great movie to add to any collection whether movies or the Franchise its self.

Great movie, and at that time it had a great price.

I will probably always disagree with critics of fun movies. This is not meant to be anything more than an enjoyable experience for the family. It succeeds at that immensely. Everyone’s performance is great, but Jack Black steals the show as Bowser. They’re making a second movie and my only gripe with the first is that the runtime was a little short and it felt like the pace was rushing to a conclusion. Take your time a bit with the next one.

DVD was exactly as I expected. Love the movie so I am glad this physical 4K version exists.

Great movie my son loves it. Love the direction of the storyline they went with. The 4k looks great and sound is great i was suprised that theres a decent amount of bass throughout the movie my subs got a decent workout.

Being an 80's baby/90's kid, I was gun-shy about another Mario movie given the last attempt at one from my childhood. However this movie was awesome. A little short by todays movie standards, but that's because the movie doesn't waste much time with origin stories and explanations. A lot of Nintendo content and characters make an appearance in a short period of time but they don't feel forced. Movie is excellently paced and Jack Black is hilarious as Bowser. The piano solo had me rollin'

Great movie, I waited until it was on sale here at Best Buy. Love this movie even though, the voice acting isn’t what you would be use to from the video games, it’s still fun to watch. Even though it’s pricey a bit, the 4k ultra had disc makes up for it. Especially when watching on an oled tv. I wanted a physical copy of this rather than just watching it on a streaming service since I collect video games and video game related things.

Movie: Surprisingly great! I'm not really a Mario fan (probably haven't been one in 30 years), but Illumination is known for great animation enjoyable by adults or kids. Fun movie, moves at a good pace, lots of references to the old games. Disc: Amazing visual quality (supports dolby vision although my TV doesnt) with a great Atmos track as well

The Super Mario Bros movie is a really great family film. The story, the visuals, and the actors are all great. The film does lack though in how they presented the story. Every time the film was about to go into a good conversation, it felt like the scene changed. This leaves you with the fealing of an incomplete scene, and really hurts the flow of the film. The film's pacing was off. Many scenes felt like they were crushed too short. They didn't allow the story to develop naturally. It felt like you we're being drug through the story rather than going with the flow. Other than these issues I really enjoyed the film, and loved looking for the Easter Eggs. I would definitely recommend this film.

I love this movie! All the Easter eggs and classic references and reflections to the game was beautifully done in cinematic form! I also enjoyed watching the bonus contents that auto plays after the movie and you get to learn more about the makings of the movie and how they tried to stay true to the Super Mario franchise. Happy to have this movie of the iconic games as part of my collection!
