Terrific movie from start to finish. Looks amazong in 4k and the special effects still hold up! Must buy for any classic horror enthusiast.

The picture is amazing. It looks like it was filmed today, it brings the practical effects to life like the film makers intended. Absolutely a must have for classic horror fans.

John Carpenter's The Thing is a Masterpiece of a movie. It looks outstanding in 4K! Thanks for this amazing movie! The music is also awesome!! It works so well with this movie!!

This is a really good scan of the the 4k release of the "The Thing". There are some 4k that aren't that really good when transferring. But this is a good transfer.

Excellent picture! This movie definitely benefits from the 4K mastering and the tasteful HDR. This definitely beats out the Scream Factory Blu-Ray version of the film.

I won't bore you with a review of the actual movie - if you like horror you know how you feel about John Carpenter. But the movie's never looked or sounded better.

This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi/Horror movies and it’s better on 4K. I would put it next to Alien in the best Sci-Fi/Horror movies as one of the best.
