This game is the best of the three Witcher games. It offers an expansive open world experience which is full of treasures and monsters to discover. The story is compelling and full of emotions. If you have never played the Witcher games before you will still love this game but will miss a little in the joy of returning characters. This game is for adults and has nudity and complex adult events I highly recommend it.

Great gameplay, beautiful visuals, and an engaging story make for an awesome experience

This is my first Witcher game, but after reading some background on the series of books and games you can join in on the story without missing too much. The game is excellent, a much darker tone then lighter fantasy fare, kind of like a Polish Game of Thrones more then the cornier fantasy worlds most games make. I prefer this to Dragon Age, and look forward to the two expansions in October 2015 and early 2016.

A fantastic RPG for multiple reasons, but the writing and story are head-and-shoulders above any open world game I've ever played. You can really tell these games are based on a series of books because the world and major characters are overflowing with lore, character and interesting details. Even the peasants you meet feel like real people who are struggling to get by. Quests and most sidequests give you interesting tasks to pursue (not just "go here, get/kill this") and feel really grounded in the world. Geralt has to make difficult decisions that I found hard to decide and even harder to predict the consequences of. Character designs and voice acting are still top-notch even 5 years later. For the hundreds of people you meet, almost all of them look realistic and alive. No worries if you're new to the series, major characters are introduced with plenty of context and you can always read about them in the in-game encyclopedia. There's an easy mode for players who mainly want to experience the story. Absolutely worth the price, I can tell this is a game I'm going to be coming back to for months if not longer.

Really well made RPG game. Open world with lots to explore and may stories to follow. Great Graphics too! The combat system is detailed making combat enjoyable. With the various difficulty settings you can breeze through or be very challenged. Crafting items is a big part so if you enjoy that you will be kept busy.. I do not like how gear gets damaged and can break and needs to be repaired.. that seems to take away form the experience IMO. They kinda went overboard with the adult relations stuff, same way that Dragon Age does.... so if you do not like than then skip this game. Really though.. there is a lot of adult tone in this game.

This game come with a lot bonus content. Packaged with the game includes "The Witcher Universe: Compendium Guide", detailed world map poster, an extra extra disc with the official soundtrack to the game, and wolf head stickers. Most of the extra online DLC is also free. The story is good and it offers excellent game play. This game was well worth the price and I am glad I picked it up on Black Friday.
