Overwhelming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is above average, but sometimes feels overwhelming. If you like games that have huge open worlds, almost endless hours of gameplay with tons of side quests, this is great. If you want a game that focuses more on the story, then maybe skip this. The decisions you make effecting the world the way it does in this game is phenomenal. I didn't finish it though. Took too long, not into the huge open world. Just don't have the time to truly enjoy a game like this.

Epic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.played the 360 version of Witchers 2 and love it. this is the third one and I prefer PC version cause 1080p 60fps. Ps4 version 1080p 30fps Xbox one version 900p 30fps Well since I don't have PC and I saw the graphics between PS4 and Xbox one, PS4 has awesome textures and graphics than Xbox one

A deep, open world that is waiting to be explored
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As one who has not played the The Witcher and The Witcher 2, I am very impressed with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I was recommended to pick this game up by a close friend, I'm so glad I did. From the combat, to the quests -- there are so many things to do. The world is HUGE, literally. You can spend hours upon hours searching for loot, encountering bandit camps or monster nests to destroy, activating places of power (which give you an additional ability point) and so much more. The ability trees offer deep customization: want to create a protective shield that restores health when hit? You can. Want to shoot a continuous stream of fire out of your hand? You can. Don't like your build? Buy a potion to reset your skill points. Those are just a few of the many things you can do in The Witcher 3. I'm about 20~30 hours in. I'm planning on experiencing at least 200+ hours more because of the amount of content packed into this game! CD Projekt RED has created a incredible game that deserves to be played!

An amazing journey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Witcher 3 is hands down one of the most amazing games I've ever played. The world that CDPR has crafted will grab you and pull you in from the get go. You'll quickly learn that this world doesn't operate on black and white, but rather many shades of gray. Pick it up, you won't regret it.

Great, immersive RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing the Witcher 3 for about 5 hours and I must say it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The graphics are great and the character Geralt is one of my favorites. I typically like creating my own character but Geralt is pretty close to my typical fantasy character build.

Just what I was hoping for...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Witcher 3 won't disappoint. Before you know it, you will find yourself constantly thinking about the game...at work, at a restaurant, when you go to sleep...yes...It is just that rad. Buy it. Go ahead. Just do it already.

Must Own RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never played Witcher 1 or 2 so I was a little worried about starting with the third installment. That wasn't an issue here, this game reels you in no matter if you are new or not. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is rich and robust. Excellent voice-acting. This is a must-buy!

Great Action RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like games like Dragon Age or Skyrim you will probably love Witcher 3. The graphics are awesome on the PS4 and it's got an insane amount of depth as an RPG. It is one of the few series that made me regret not having a 360 and missing the first 2. Well worth the purchase price!

The soul of quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has been amazing since I put it into my console. I love the graphics, gameplay, fluidity of the combat, the storytelling and just everything about it. On top of that, the developer has already released FREE extra content! You must buy it or let the Wild Hunt destroy the land.

Fun World to Explore
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not as polished as say, The Legend of Zelda games, which is what the world of The Witcher sort of feels like, but it’s a good game overall. Not without its bugs, but I’m having a good time playing. I give credit to CD Projekt Red (Developer); They’ve supported the game for a couple years and released a lot of free DLC. Worth it!

Big, wild game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the most open world, story driven games I have tried in a long time. It is also one of those games where you can just wander the countryside enjoying the scenery. With the variety of choices affecting play in numerous ways, it should have great replayability as well.

Hope you have played the other two first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this from a recommendation from a friend, The story line is a continuation and unless you have played the other two it can be a pain to follow along even with the encyclopedia witcher that is in the game, if I wanted to do genealogy I would do that instead of playing the game but I gave it three stars as the graphic and combat system are very fluid and well done.

best. game. ever.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game may have its flaws but we should accept them with open arms. Seriously, in an industry that releases unfinished, stale, yearly installments all too frequently the Witcher 3 was a breath of fresh air, time and effort was put into this game, and they even sent a little thank you note to the gamers, wow they did that? They didn't just take our lunch money and push us into the sandbox? No $15+ first day DLC either. Thats really sad that these facts make me so eager to rate this game, but I feel all real gamers will agree that this game has something that most games released today are completely void of. Heart. Buy the game. Not pre-owned, new. Give your money to CD Projekt Red. Enjoy how it used to feel while playing an RPG when developers actually tried.

Amazing, super-robust RPG Adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never played Witcher 1 or 2 and it doesn't matter. This game is richly detailed, enormous in scope and looks gorgeous. The combat is intuitive and feels good. The main story is intriguing and there are hundreds of side quests the really flesh out this world. I've been playing for a month and there are still four major "states" or "countries" to explore. I'm sure if all I did were Main Story missions I'd be much much further. There's SO much to do in this game and if all you can afford is one game every so often, then you'll easily get your money's worth in this one. If you enjoyed Skyrim, Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, or even Mass Effect, then I'd be surprised if you didn't like this game. It's rated M for very good reasons as it doesn't shy away from adult language, gruesome violence (against human and non-human alike), as well as a healthy dose of nudity. None of it is gratuitous, in my opinion, but it's there and may not be suitable for younger players.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first time playing a game in the Witcher series, and it was fantastic. I had over 70 hours into before I finally beat the main story. The detail in both the main story and the side missions is incredible. If you're looking for a game to sink many hours into, this is it.

Immersive Open World with Plenty to Keep You Busy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a travel-for-work, working parent and have my gaming fairly regulated to being farily sporadic. I've spent the past few months with my limited gaming time buried into prestiging Arkham Knight. I was looking for a good follow-up and have always wanted to play a good (in this case great) open world'ish RPG. Fallout 4 was my first "go to," but quickly became quite the Time Sink. Witcher 3, on the other hand has plenty of "sign posts" to keep you on track on latest missions as well as plenty of side missions. I can play here and there, drop it for a week or so and get back into it quickly. It's always very cinematic and engaging. The fighting is significantly above par for open world RPG and the graphics, etc. are very-very good. Hopefully, by this point, you've gotten the picture and there's plenty of chatter online and elsewhere why this was typically rated Best Game of 2015 to which I most definitely concur.
