I say this right up the front: The Witcher 3 is probably a better game than 4/5 stars. It's systems are intricate, it's skills varied, and it's story engaging. At the same time however it's menus are cumbersome, it's world-map clunky and cluttered with ? marks, and lastly... well you'll probably never finish the main quest through to its finale if you're a completionist like me. And for that reason it's not perfect. I've played the Witcher for upwards of 60 hours and having just reached Skellige my attention span is deteriorating. By no fault of the game other than that it is simply packed full of so much content I can't get to, from monster contracts, treasure hunts, horse races, and a whole card game called Gwent (don't get me started on Gwent), the Witcher has layers upon layers to explore. Of course this is a world that's absolutely stunning and begging to be explored. If you haven't yet, try not to lose yourself to it.

This is just a very basic recommendation as the game alleges to have 200 hours of content and there is just NO WAY I'll finish before reviewing. This is a 3rd person RPG action adventure where you play a monster hunter entangled in regional politics, alliances and rivalries, romance and violence....I mean this game is just STUFFED full of drama and coolness! Highly recommend the game. Note: When it was first released it suffered technical issues however I've been playing for 20 hours now and haven't encountered more glitching so as of June 6th it should be good to go!

Great role playing game. Tones to do and explore. If you purchase this game, plan to spend a great deal of time playing, Addictive....

I came straight from bloodborne to witcher 3. Controls are not as tight, looting is a little wonky. You need to let go of analog stick for many action prompts, but nothing a patch can't fix. Load times are similar to bloodborne pre-patch, but this game has an amazing story.

This game can be a real head scratcher. It might keep you up for days at a time so be careful! Awesome game I would highly recommend

What a great game. 200 hours to finish? Wow! So far, the story has pulled me in. I'm having a hard time going back to Bloodborne...lol. Great purchase!

Though new to the series, it is exciting to see such an expansive title requiring hours upon hours to complete. I lost myself in the world while Geralt collected copious amounts of goodies, slated myriad packs of beasts, and concocted dozens of unique potions and oils. I would have liked to know more about the story before making some of the choices offered to you in the beginning, but as of yet, no choice has significantly halted my progress. Would highly recommend for the OCD gamer looking to sink a great deal of time into an immersive and impressively sized RPG.

This game is not so much about the graphics as it is about the gameplay. Huge open world, fair fighting mechanics. So much to do, so much time to waste.

One of the top games I've played this year. Spend hours and hours of entertainment lost in this open world. The graphics and gameplay are top notch.

The main story was solid, but for me, it's the side missions that shine. I've lost count of how many hours I've spent, but this game is filled with content. Combat can be clunky at times, but not enough to dock points. Framerate stutters in some areas, but not game-breaking. CDPR released a bit of free dlc, and along with the extras in the case, it was a nice gesture to the fans. If you love western rpgs, this is one of the best I've ever played.

This game is like Zelda on steroids. Every bit part of the story has a great background story to it. The game is very detailed. Great game overall.

With lots of quests, a deep storyline and lore to get engrossed in, and challenging gameplay, this is a contender for the best game released in 2015.

It takes a good amount of time to kick in and hook you but once you are far enough in, it will reward you with an addictive playthrough! Won GOTY!

I have played all the Witcher games this point, the first two on PC. This is the best most enormous world to date. Open ended play is fantastic!

Huge world with a lot of questing. There is also so much to do in the game. Honestly cant think of a flaw. Great game and every gamer should have it.
