This game has all the elements of a great RPG, and its down right beautiful, but there are far too many side quests for a parent to ever accomplish, but if you have the time this is a great game. I recommend playing the previous witcher's because they provide a better explanation of back story which is briefly covered in the game by banter between the characters.

Huge open world. Play how you want. More emphasis on dodging than straight hack n slash. Incredible next gen graphics. Physical map included with the game gives you insight as to the monsters you will face as well as landmarks.

The game is captivating, beautiful, and well thought out as far as a RPG goes. The game will engage you fully in its open world environment and its battle mechanics will keep you entertained for many hours. Overall a++++++++++

The graphics are the best I've seen and the playing time goes on and on. My household has invested well over 60 hours at this point and is nowhere near done. It's also a wonderful benefit that updates come at no extra charge.

Best game in the series so far. Good open world solo game play. This game does not have co-op play, which I prefer. Graphics are better than average but could have been better. With what I have played so far, the storyline and side quests have been good. Voice covers have been good. I recommend this game if you like open world adventuring and hunting monsters.

Well after beating this game I see why it won game of the year. I'll admit,parts of it are challenging,but it's still very very good. The graphics and storyline are absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong with this game.

Brutal combat and adult themes make this game a must have rpg for hardcore adult gamers. The environment is huge and involving, with beautiful scenery and a good story and quest line you will be busy for hundreds of hours.

The story is great and I've only just started. I'm beginning to see just how big the world is and I'm sure it will continue to get even bigger as I progress. Very fun game and I know there will be so much more to come!

What can I say that hasn't been said about The Witcher 3, an amazing open world game that is bursting at the seams with content. Other Developers should take note because this is what a AAA game is suppose to be like.

This game is HUGE. So much to do. I spent the first 10 or 15 hours just doing available side quests, and barely progressed the main story. This game is very freeform, and a blast to play. GET IT.

The Game is gorgeous, and every expansive. There is a ton to do and see. Quest log keeps it organized. Controls can take some getting used to, especially if you've been playing FPS. But the learning curve isn't bad.

My early favorite for game of the year. An awesome open world experience with engaging characters, challenging combat, and plenty to do. I spent over 100 hours on my first playthrough and can't wait to do another.

Thrilling story line that gets you hooked. Even if you never played any of the prior games like my self , it is easy to follow and easy to love. That's about the only thing that's easy left, playing on "blood and gore" setting gives you a exciting challenge that haves you quick saving quite often. Main story line is great and they side quest are fun things to do and get lost exploring. Huge world, great enemies and different types of tactics needed for each kind, the cinematic cut scenes are like no other you feel like you get sucked into a movie with a great cast. You realize how long you have been playing when you character starts to grow a beard over time. If you aren't sold buy now then idk what else to tell you, its a must play game.

Witcher 3 makes my list of top 10 all time favorite games. It lands right behind Zelda on N64 which will forever have a special place in my heart. :p CD Projeckt have nailed both story and combat in this epic tale!

Witcher 3 is the first true next gen game. Expectations were high for this game but it matched or bested all of mine. Story, gameplay and visuals are all top notch. Not playing this is doing yourself a disservice.

This game is MASSIVE, you are looking at hundreds of hours worth of content! The game is extremely deep and immersive, presenting a world unlike any game currently out. You can tell the developers loved this project as the beauty of the world and contrast of its gritty inhabitants is enough to consume you for months on end. If you enjoyed the elder scrolls series, this is a more dark perspective, where morals and characters aren't simply black and white. The depth of all things - whether it be quests, character customization, or the world itself is overwhelming. Don't worry if you haven't played the prequels, the game stands strong on its own and is perhaps the deepest and most immersive game on any platform to date.

Having a lot of fun with it so far. First witcher game I've played, but easy to pick up and enjoy. Got caught up with the story by watching some videos online (not really needed though). Would highly recommend this game to any RPG fan. Took one star off because the XB1 does suffer from some frame rate drops (common on the PS4 as well).

after reading so many good reviews, i finally decided to get this game. I have played about 2 hours so far, and its okay. hopefully it will get better. The graphics and story are amazing, but the gameplay is what bugs me. Im still getting use to the controls and combat, but after i do, i think this game will live up to the hype

This game is awesome! I love how the story changes based off the decisions you make. There is a lot to do. This game is a good investment to keep you busy for a long time! Graphics are awesome. The one down side is the movement is a little choppy in small spaces

This game is a great example of an open world RPG. All of the quest that I have played so far have felt genuine,natural, and not forced. That is especially true for the side quests they have not felt like they were rushed and put in the game as a second thought. They are fleshed out and fun to do along with they main story quests.
