Be careful because this game is so good you will be playing it for hours on end and will have trouble putting it down. There is a slight learning curve with the way Gareld moves in the beginning but once you get used to it you will be hooked

Having played all of the Witcher series, I would have to say that this is easily my favorite of the series. I'm not even 20% through the game and it has already been a better game (play & value-wise). The developers have made combat much more fluid and fun and the game world is huge! Definitely a must-buy!

Just completed it and am very sad to have hours of my life back. Killer graphics, just top-notch playability and storyline. Just surprised how good it was. Wish my teens and pre-teens could play, it is too much for them...right now. Would like a setting to dial that down. Outside of that, no complaints.

I got this not really sure if I was going to like it or not. Not a big RPG fan. Well, so far so good. It is not overly redundant as far as action, I guess that is due to the size. It does play a lot like the old Fables games. Not as campy, but I've seen a lot of similarities. So far it's worth the money.

I play mostly open-world RPG-style games and was looking for something to hold me over to the Fallout 4 release after completing Dragon Age: Inquisition. I picked this game out solely based on online reviews. So far I have not been disappointed. This is about as open-world as Dragon Age: Inquisition (if you haven't played that, I would say more open than a Mass Effect game but less open than the most recent Elder Scrolls and Fallout games). If you're fully invested in one of the other franchises, you may find that the menus take some time to get used to. It didn't take long to learn the actual play controls, though. The plot is a little more mature and a lot more complicated than most other games in this genre, which is a nice change for the most part but may require a little reading to help understand some of the plot. I had planned on playing it a couple months and dumping it when Fallout 4 was released, but I can tell I'm going to keep playing this to the end before I even bother with Fallout. A genuinely good game.

I loved the story and the free roam, there are plenty of main missions and side missions to keep you busy. Upon spending hours upon hours on it thinking I was half way completed I'm only 15% through the game. Graphics look great also.

If you love an an RPG that you can explore and sink hours into, The Witcher 3 is the perfect game. It builds on the lore of Geralt and his powers as a Witcher. The combat is tight and the scenery is amazing and the story is memorable. If you've played the Witcher 2 you will know the names, but if not the game explains who they are. 60 hours into it and still having fun!

I was hesitant to buy the game at first, but once I did and started playing it, I found out why it's such a loved series of games. The open world and ability to free roam are what drew me to it. Mix that in with decent fighting mechanics, a bit of sorcery, and a great storyline, the game for sure makes it worth the purchase. Free weekly DLC for the game doesn't hurt either. Overall a good purchase. A 9/10 since the movement mechanics are a little janky still.

Posted on both PS4 and Xbox One.... Brilliant game. Even better than Skyrim, and with far fewer bugs. Totally sucks you in and doesn't let go. Plus free dlc, and two future expansions that are worthy of the name, unlike most of the dlc major publishers throw at you. Game of the year, easily.

One of the best role playing games I have ever played. Filled with tens of hours of adventure, action, not to mention romance. Basically it is a perfect combination of fantasy book with a great adventure movie. All this and you get to choose what happens next. I really recommend this game.

This game sells itself. The story is brilliant, and it is worth every penny. The open world experience is like none that I have ever experienced before. I love this game. When I at home bored, I know that an hour or two will easily go by by turning on my Xbox One and playing this game.

This game shows up great on Xbox One and plays amazingly well. The world is very large and very open. Playing on a higher difficulty makes The Witcher 3 difficult/challenging and fun to play. Graphics are superb and for those of you that like open-world games, this is one to check out.

This game is one of the best RPGs of today! Its open world gameplay is like no other, and the story for the game is one of the best I have played. Graphics are smooth and environments are so detailed. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves The Witcher franchise.

Best game I have ever played. Really taps into the new console potential. Hundreds of hours of game play, very difficult to not get your money's worth. Combat is challenging which makes the game satisfying to accomplish.

This is an excellent adventure/story RPG. The artwork in the game is fantastic and the story is riveting. Highly recommended for skilled players as it does have a fairly high learning curve. The only con I have is that loading times are a bit long. But that is to be expected

this game can be summed up in just a few words. Amazingly long and amazingly beautiful. I am over 200 hours into this game and still going strong. One of the best open world games I've played in recent years. I will definitely be looking forward to Witcher 4 if it ever comes out.

This game is amazing. The open world is so vast and the overall story is well written and executed. If you're into open world environment games you can't pass this one up. I've played for around 25 hours already and haven't even scratched the surface of the overall story.

Excellent open world rpg. The combat is fun, but challenging. The quests are actually interesting, instead of run of the mill fetch quests. This is one of the best games in years. Caveat - this is not a game for children. You may have to play once the kids are in bed.

This is the closest thing I have seen in a game to playing through a GoT plot. There are epic creatures, massive battles, smart plot lines and solid combat. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a massively huge RPG with extreme amounts of life to experience.
