A mixed port of the DS original. Highly advised you do not play this game docked unless you wanna try solo co-op. Playing in handheld with touch controls offers the closest experience to the DS version and is how the game should be experienced. The new story content sucks though.

Got as a present was told the game was great so I got this version of it.

This is a lazy port of the game with forced joycon use. I hate being forced to use the small joycons instead of the pro controller. Regretted this game.

Forced Motion controls from the beginning?! You can’t play normally while the joycons are attached to console as they become useless if attached. You can only play the game with joy-cons that force pointless motion control while docked or when portable, joy-cons become useless and you are forced to touch the screen constantly. Almost seems hazardous to the screen honestly. It’s clealry the mobile phone port.....needs to add regular controls without a motion or touch option! Only good to play the extra day but I could have just seen it as a video online.

The World ends With You is Squaresoft at their finest. Nicely updated sprites, the old incredible music that includes a remixed version to keep things fresh, a co-op mode that is great to play with a friend, and an entirely new chapter at the end of the game. If you like JRPGs, TWEWY is a unique experience you should not miss out on.

great game full of fun times and a lot of downtime fun

The World Ends with You is a very strange type of game, one that becomes immensely enjoyable and even better with a friend once you master it’s different type of control scheme. Just be patient and learn the controls and you’ll be set!

Very fun story with likable characters. Grinding isn't really necessary but the gameplay can get boring if you decide to do it. I never played the DS version so I can't say if the gameplay compared to the DS version is better or worse, but I really liked it.

This game is a great hit of nostalgia. I do miss the DS version's unique combat, but the Switch includes a co-op mode that lets me and my girlfriend enjoy the game together! If you haven't already tried it, it's a groovy time.
