I do feel minor stinging in the hours after use but have already noticed subtle differences in my skin, and somebody randomly complimented my skin's glow today. It has two buttons, one for light and one to control vibration. For the most part we use the main pre-programmed cycle daily.

Think twice or do some more research if you are buying this for somebody with any health concerns first.
