Initial Impressions are Positive!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, this is an initial impression review, as it takes time to see real-world results. Therabody recommends at least 8-12 weeks of daily usage for visible signs of wrinkle reduction. Ive been familiar with Therabody for quite some time now and really appreciate their high quality products focused on wellness. I also have used red light therapy for my skin on a much smaller scale in the past. When I saw that Therabody was offering a full face red/blue light therapy mask, I was ready to give a full face mask a try. Ive always been cognizant about skin care and have tried to take positive steps in using products that are good for my skin and help keep wrinkles at bay. Outside of high quality skin moisturizers and such, I had little to aid in that pursuit. I was curious of full mask light therapy and its effectiveness. After reading up on it, I saw that it may be quite effective at maintaining good skin health. The Therabody TheraFace Mask not only offers light therapy, it also offers a subtle, relaxing facial massage at the same time...which is obviously their specialty. The unit came packaged in a simple cloth pouch, which would work well for storage. It has a crescent-shaped cradle and a USB C cable also included. Per Therabody, the mask has 648 LEDs that cover the majority of the face, minus the eyes and most of the nose. These LEDs emits 3 light wavelengths: Red, Red and Infrared, or Blue. In short, red light wavelength helps with wrinkle reduction by promoting increased collagen production. Red light and infrared wavelength helps with reducing dark spots and creating a more even skin tone. Lastly, blue light wavelength fights acne bacteria and helps with controlling break outs. You can run a full 9 minute cycle that uses all 3 options in progression or choose to run individual 3 minute sessions, depending on your needs. It's easy to choose using the LED button located on the right temple of the mask. The mask also offers massage alongside the light therapy treatments or as a stand alone feature. You get to choose. Vibration mode can be managed via the Vibration Button located on the left temple of the mask. There are 3 vibration modes - Continuous, Breathing and Wave. They can run in progression during the 9 minute cycle, cycled through to run separately or go for 15 minutes in vibration mode only. The vibration is relatively subtle and can be felt primarily along the forehead/brow line and in the headband areas that lay against your scalp. Nothing major but soothing none-the-less. The mask is made of high-quality, sturdy plastic connected to an adjustable cloth headband. The unit is not too heavy but it did leave red marks around my eyes (included detachable silicone eye shields helped pad that area) after each session. The redness does go away pretty quickly but it's just something to note. Charging is done by connecting the included USB C cable to the USB C port inside the mask. The unit also has an auto shut off feature that happens after a full 9 minute light cycle or a 15 minute vibration cycle. Im not sure how long the battery lasts between charging as I always plug the USB C cable in and set it on the cradle after each use. Overall, my initial impression of the TheraFace Mask is quite positive. The only results Im seeing at this early point is more even skin tone. That's a good sign of things to come. I plan on continuing the sessions as recommended and hope to see even more significant results in the future. If you have been teetering on getting a light therapy skin system, I think this mask will be a great option.

Head band slippage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The head band does really keep the mask from slipping unless you have a pontail, but i am a guy with short hair. So it doesnt really work for me

Wouldn’t recommend if you have facial piercings
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mask is too heavy to position properly if you have facial piercings. Also, lights were extremely bright, even when eyes shut and using the eye shield.

LED and Vibration in a relaxing treatment
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Theraface Mask is a premium LED light therapy mask that uses red light, red plus infrared, and blue light. It also uses vibration which can help with circulation. The product includes the mask itself, removable protective eye shields, a display stand, and a USB adapter for charging. I like that it charged over USB type c, and a charge seems to last for just over a week of use. I like that it is cordless and has significantly more LEDs than competitors. I find it too heavy to wear while sitting or standing around, and prefer to use it lying down. This has resulted in a very relaxing, almost meditative, routine. Because of this, I use it without the eye shields, and just close my eyes. After a week of use, I do feel that my skin is more even and looks more radiant. This is hard to quantify and I hope that there will be more results over the coming weeks. I find the vibration to be perfect, at first it felt a little intense but once I got used to it I really enjoy it. I look forward to the nine minutes of light and vibration therapy every day. This is a premium item, but I like the results to far and really enjoy the relaxation.

This mask is the real deal & does what it says!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TheraFace Mask by Therabody This new device is a well-made, thought-through device for the face in general. It offers 648 medical grade LEDs with all of them offering light in 3 wavelengths – Red, Red + Infrared, and Blue. Red reportedly stimulates collagen production to help smooth out finer wrinkles, Red + Infrared to improve circulation bringing a more even skin tone, and Blue to lower breakouts/acne by killing bacteria known to cause these things. It also offers 3-mode vibration settings to message the face and scalp which improves muscle tone and provides relaxation. All the above can be used in a 9-minute routine, or in shorter routines if you want to target only one of the light types, daily. Of course, the TheraFace Mask can be safely used more often during the day, if you like. You can use the message settings alone or include them with the light therapy sessions. The mask has adjustable straps over the scalp to adjust the mask to the right position on your face and to hold it securely while you either rest or are up doing things. The mask is rechargeable, so there’s no cords to tether you in one place while using it. There are removable eye-shields that fit around the eye openings and set flush with your face so that you can do whatever you like while using the mask’s light therapies. Of course, you can use the mask without the eye shields, but you need to keep your eyes closed during your session due to the lights. By the way, the mask weighs about 1.5 lbs, but once you have the mask adjusted for your size face/head, the weight is not an actual problem. You can do your own research on clinical results, but just know that you’ll find in virtually all categories of use the mask is improving things for users regarding their skin tone, skin health and appearance, muscle tone and relaxation in general as well. We’ve only had the mask a little over a week (my wife is the primary user, but I can see the results with my own eyes), but here’s what we’ve personally noticed during our use: 1. Her jawline is starting to lift. 2. Uneven skin tones, spots and such are starting to noticeably lighten. 3. There is an overall increase in smoothing of her skin texture and improvement in general skin appearance. 4. The beginning of the skin’s fine lines smoothing. 5. Relaxation using the vibration mode as well as stimulating circulation. Keep In mind that the above listed benefits are starting after only a week of use, but we can both see these things for ourselves in real life. Clinical studies are great, but real-life experience is where it’s at. In our opinion, this mask is the real deal for those interested in facial appearance and health.
