    A futuristic approach to skincare

As a 30 something year old, I've started to step up my skincare routine over the last few years. I like trying new products and seeing what is out there so naturally when I saw this device I was really excited to try it. I've never tried a Therabody product, but I have always heard great things about the brand and so far Theraface is holding up to the expectations. I've only used this device for 1 week now and I haven't seen any huge results but I can say my skin is a little bit smoother and my tone has even out a bit. Upon unboxing this mask, I'm not gonna lie...I laughed out loud because of how crazy it looks. It literally looks like some kind of futuristic halloween mask. While it looks rather intimidating, it's actually incredibly easy to use. There are two buttons, one on the left and the other on the right. One controls all of the massage features, including the 15 minute massage treatment and the other is the on/off button and cycles through the different light treatments. You turn it on and it automatically starts the 9-minute recommended daily treatment. If you press the button multiple times, it cycles through the red, red + infrared and blue light settings. It's really that easy. After the 9-minute treatment it automatically shuts off. What's truly my favorite thing about this mask, is that it just takes 9 minutes of daily use to be able to see results. And the best part? I can multitask while wearing the mask. I've been able to lay down and relax or use this while I'm sitting at my desk working. It gives me hope that I'll be able to stick with this routine because of the flexibility of being able to still do things. Like I said, I used it for 7 days and today was the first day that I've had to charge it. So it looks like it lasts a week of daily use before charging which is pretty great. As far as how the mask feels when wearing it, it does feel a bit odd. That's probably my only con so far. I think I have an average sized head, but maybe on the smaller side of average so when I first put it on I was afraid it might not actually fit. And it does barely fit. I have the velcro all the way to the limits. So with that being said, it could probably adhere to my face a little bit better to be able to fully feel the massage features. I do feel them, just maybe not as much as someone else would. I also have to give a shoutout that this device is FDA approved, which I'm impressed by. I've gotten more into looking at products and the safety or legitimacy of them and it makes me feel better that this is backed by clinical studies. Overall, I'm feeling positive and excited to continue using this mask. It's easy to incorporate in my day and even if they're small, I'm seeing some type of results after a week's use. If anything, it gives me a nice little massage and it's a great way to try to get me to relax. I'm going to day daily photos to try to track any more progress and I suggest anyone does the same! It's a fun way to track progress. :)

Considering I was told it would be here by the 30th of December and I still haven’t seen it I’m a little disappointed. I have been to my local store twice and both times they couldn’t even track the package or provide me a tracking number. I understand items being back ordered but if that’s the case then be honest with the customer about lead times.

    Relax While Reducing Wrinkles

I think I look pretty good for my age but who would mind looking even younger. I was skeptical about the legitimacy of this technology but as I researched LED skincare masks I discovered there are plenty of studies which support its effectiveness in healthier looking skin while also reducing fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen production. I was curious to try the Therabody TheraFace Mask with its 648 medical-grade LED lights that emits red, red + infrared, and blue LED light. This mask has many more lights than other products I looked at. The red and red + infrared light is effective for the treatment of wrinkles while the blue light is helpful for acne. The TheraFace also has a massage feature with 3 vibration modes including continuous, breathing, and wave. I have to say this thing is an odd looking device that I hoped would arrive concealed in a plain brown cardboard box and it did. In the box you find the LED face mask, a usb c charging cable, and the manual. The mask came charged so I started using it immediately. The mask is cordless once charged. On the mask you find a LED button and and a vibration button. Here you can select the LED light or vibration options you prefer or you can just start an automatic 9 minute treatment that cycles through all 3 light settings in combination with with all 3 vibration settings. The massage elements are powered by 17 QX-micro motors. There is a silicon eye shield on the inside of the mask that protects your eyes from the LED lights. The shield is removable if you prefer to just close your eyes during the treatments. So far I’ve just opted for the automatic treatment. You just adjust the head straps and slip the mask on. To start a treatment you simply push the button the right side of the mask. As the lights start, the massage elements also start. There are massage elements above the eyebrows, on the temple, and on the head straps at the top of the head and on the rear of the head. The massage sensation in each mode is quite relaxing. I find that the cycling of LED color and massage modes make the treatment time pass quicker since each of the 3 modes lasts 3 minutes. I’ve read that wrinkle reduction results can take from 2 to 4 months. I’m only a week into treatments so time will tell in regard to results. In the meantime the Therabody TheraFace Mask has become a relaxing part of my daily health and beauty regimen.

A soothing addition to skincare routines

I have been using the TheraFace Mask for a little over a week now and I can report on a few things I’ve noticed during my use. The TheraFace Mask is a comfortable to use skincare tool. Using light therapy with soothing vibration, it intends to improve the look of your skin. Whether or not it does, I cannot confirm as Therabody’s own studies listed on its website shows results from a 12-week clinical study that resulted in skin improvement after 8 weeks of use. My week or so of use is not enough time to give my results in that aspect. However, I can talk about the day-to-day use of the mask. The entire care routine lasts approximately 9 minutes. The mask begins with redlight therapy that claims to stimulate collagen production. Then, it goes to redlight & Infrared therapy which is supposed to boost circulation and even out skin tone. Finally, it finished with blue light therapy which fights acne causing bacteria. During that 9-minute therapy session, the mask vibrates. The vibrations are nice and soothing. The thing the mask does incredibly well is the ease to do so many therapies so quickly. Putting on the mask is quick and easy. For myself and my wife, the mask is super comfortable. As long as the mask ultimately produces results, the product use experience won’t stop you from using it. Its incredibly simple to use and the therapy is short enough of a duration that most people will find time to use it before going to bed at night, or in the mornings. In conclusion, my experience with the TheraFace Mask over the past week has been primarily focused on its day-to-day usage, as the full extent of its skin improvement capabilities may require more time to assess. However, in terms of user-friendliness and comfort, the TheraFace Mask excels. Its 9-minute therapy routine, which includes red light, infrared therapy, and blue light therapy, accompanied by soothing vibrations, is not only quick but also pleasant. The mask's ease of use and comfort make it a convenient addition to any skincare routine. While I cannot yet comment on its long-term effectiveness, the TheraFace Mask's simplicity and brief therapy duration make it accessible for daily use, either in the morning or before bedtime. As with any skincare product, individual results may vary, but the TheraFace Mask's user experience certainly doesn't deter its potential benefits, which may become more evident over time.

    The Ultimate Beauty Solution

I had my wife test this product since this is definitely in her wheelhouse and this is what she had to say about it: As a woman in her 30s, I'm always on the hunt for cutting-edge beauty products to enhance my skin's texture, tone, and combat fine lines while keeping it youthful, healthy, and radiant. I wanted a solution that would allow me to pamper myself at home without the need for time-consuming and costly salon visits. After using the TheraFace Mask for 10 days, I can confidently say that I'm absolutely thrilled with both the product and the results I've achieved! What sets the TheraFace Mask apart is its FDA approval and a staggering 648 medical-grade LEDs. It boasts three distinct wavelengths/light settings: red, blue, and a combination of red light and infrared. Here's how each setting works its magic: Red Light: This setting works wonders on overall skin appearance, diminishing fine lines, wrinkles, and even dark spots. Blue Light: Perfect for those battling breakouts and acne, the blue light setting is a game-changer. Red Light + Infrared: The dynamic duo of red light and infrared stimulates collagen production, leaving your skin looking rejuvenated and plump. I personally opted for the nine-minute treatment with all three wavelengths, but the flexibility to choose individual light settings based on your goals is a fantastic feature. What makes the TheraFace Mask even more remarkable is the embedded massage therapy in the straps, particularly around the forehead and eye area. You even have the option to enjoy the soothing massage treatments without the LEDs if you prefer. The mask's adjustable straps ensure a snug and comfortable fit, making it a breeze to put on and wear. I especially appreciate the wireless design, which allows me to move around freely during my treatments. Surprisingly, wearing the mask was much more comfortable than I initially anticipated. One full charge lasts approximately 45-60 minutes or about a week's worth of treatments, making it incredibly convenient for regular use. Thanks to its user-friendly nature, short treatment cycles, and the noticeable results I've experienced within just a few days, I wholeheartedly recommend the TheraFace Mask to anyone seeking to enhance their skin's beauty and radiance from the comfort of their own home. It's truly a game-changer!

I love using this TheraFace Mask! It has a Red Light and vibration mode to reduce wrinkles, a Red+Infrared Light and vibration mode to reduce wrinkles, and a Blue Light and vibration mode to reduce acne. It is safe to use for practically everyone. The Full-Face Light Therapy option cycles through each of the light modes for 3 minutes each for a total of one 9 minute complete session. You can change the vibration pattern during these cycles if desired, but I just leave it on the default setting. I enjoy putting it on and sitting in my recliner after work and letting it relax me and treat my face at the same time. It also has a dedicated Vibration only option with 3 modes: Continuous, Breathing (which guides you through a breathing exercise), and Wave. The vibration motors are located around the eyes of the mask and on the straps that fit on the top and sides of the head. I enjoy the Wave mode the most. I haven't been able to use the mask long enough to really see how much it is going to be able to treat my wrinkles or acne, but so far so good. I feel like my forehead and eye wrinkles have become less sharp and expect that I will see more improvement as I continue to use it. I recommend this mask for anyone looking for a safe and effective way to reduce wrinkles and acne while also enjoying the relaxation the vibration provides.

My wife and I have been using the TherabodyTheraFace mask every day for the past week or so and have thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been so enthralled that we have offered it to everyone who has come by for a visit and everyone has been impressed as well. The documentation claims you will see visible results in as little as 8 weeks for fine lines and wrinkles, but I can actually tell a slight difference in my “crow’s feet” already. I never knew light and vibration could have such an impact. After taking the mask out of the included cradle/stand it’s just a matter of slipping it over your head, adjusting the top and rear elastic bands for a comfortable fit, and long pressing a button. Then you get 9 minutes of relaxation and therapy in three different segments. The lights automatically change from red, to infrared, and blue in each part, and the vibration pattern changes as well. The mask is comfortable while wearing it and the included eye shield means you can still see and go about your business while wearing it if you so desire. I prefer to just sit still and let it work its magic during the whole thing, but to each their own. For me, the vibrating massage is the absolute best part as it eases tension and even has helped with my headaches. You get the vibration around your temples, around the eyes, and on top and back of the scalp. Trust me, it’s a wonderful feeling. If you prefer to not have the lights, there are settings for a 15-minute massage only session and you can even adjust the patterns of the massaging if you want, depending on your particular want or need for the session. If you want just a single light type, you can easily toggle through those as well. And you can turn off the vibration if that’s not your thing and just have the light therapy. Basically, you can tailor this mask to your exact preferences with just a touch of a button. The TheraFace is a sleek package that is packed with features and technology. It has gobs and gobs of LED’s that each produce the red, infrared, and blue wavelengths for a more complete therapy, the microvibration motors are perfectly placed, and the whole thing is controlled with just two buttons. Using this mask has quickly become a daily staple in my house.

    Skincare routine necessity!

Therabody has done it again, I have found another product of theirs that I absolutely love, can easily incorporate into my daily routine, and it improves my quality of life. As I have been using the TheraFace Mask daily since I got it, I noticed it is fairly heavy. Not unbearably heavy, and it surprisingly does not fall off if you stand up, walk around, look down, etc, but nonetheless it is heavier than expected. Despite being a little heavy, it is very comfortable to wear. The shape of it is perfect for my face and head. The eye openings line up perfectly with my eyes and I was able to wear it while doing laundry without feeling restricted at all. The head straps are just enough to hold onto your head and keep it from falling, without being overwhelming. The softer material around the eye area as well as the eye guard are very comfortable. As TheraBody does, all the different materials this mask is made of all feel like a very high quality, it does not feel cheap by any means. I also love that they included a very nice stand as this is a fairly odd shaped device and finding a place to store it otherwise would be fairly difficult. Another huge plus is that it charges via USB-C, any device that I can charge with my phone charger just wins even more points in my book for convenience. The massage function is great, especially around the eyes. The head strap massage is not my favourite as it causes some rattling at times and being that close to your face/ears it is not the most relaxing thing but it's not the end of the world. As far as the actual light therapy itself, it's wild because you don't actually feel anything happening during the treatment, it does not feel like you even did anything. But, with each use I do notice small improvements in my skins health. I have already noticed an improvement in smoothness for both texture and color. My reddish tinge and patching has definitely improved. I'm so excited to see how my skin will look weeks/months from now with continued daily use. If you are someone who takes your skincare routine seriously, this is an obvious necessity in your arsenal. I highly recommend it.

Skin care clinic may become unhappy with this mask

This device has now been added to my daily routine of facial skin care. The premise, or rather the promise, by Therabody is quite amazing: this is an FDA approved device that can help people to achieve ‘firmer, smoother, healthier-looking skin with a visible reduction in fine lines and dark spots in as little as 8 weeks’. It does many things from making our skin tone look more even, helps reducing darks spots, improve radiance and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, making our skin firmer, as well as reducing and fights acne-causing bacteria. Therabody claims that it uses 3 times more LEDs than the leading mask competitor, which contributes to achieving results faster. Well, I have only tested the device for roughly one week, however, the results seem positive so far. I can feel that there’s some improvement to my facial skin conditions. It seems to be firmer. In fact, my partner tried it as well and notices some improvement, which appears to make the skin tone look more even. Because this device is FDA approved, this is actually a clinically proven device that is accessible for home use at our convenience. I should put emphasis on the word convenience: the skin treatment can be done anytime in our home on daily basis. Some people do spend a lot of money to go to the clinic for treating the kind of conditions that this device is designed to help. The device has built-in battery so we can use it anywhere, however, it’s advisable to use it in a private space so that no one could stare on the lights emitting from the device during the treatment. There’s no harm for being extra careful in protecting the eyes of people we loved in our home. Of course, results may vary from one person to another because people have different skin conditions and it’s important to note that results are only achievable with daily use of the device.

I'm usually skeptical of these types of devices, but given the Therabody name, and my love for our Theragun, I decided to give it a shot. My finace and I have both been using this for over a week and we are both impressed with the results. Both of us have noticed smoother skin and she has had improvement in a few breakouts. The vibration aspect of this mask is a further benefit that helps with headaches and just overall relaxation while doing your treatment. The adjustable straps, which also contain massage elements, holds the mask firmly in place. The included eye guard means I'm able to wear the mask and do my treatment while doing other things. I usually do my treatment in the morning while I'm sitting at my computer working. You'll need the eye guards in place to do this, otherwise you need to keep your eyes closed without the guard. Being able to run through the 9min cycle with the press of a button is helpful. But you can also select a specific mode (Red Light, Red + Infrared, or Blue Light) depending on what you're looking to do. You can even do a 15min vibration only treatment if you're just trying to de-stress or relieve a headache. This is definitely not an inexpensive purchase, but it is a well built and designed light therapy mask with features not found in other masks on the market. The 648 LEDs that can all emit all three wavelengths exceeds the competition and gives a better treatment. The vibration aspect adds to the overall benefits this mask provide. If you're looking for a light therapy mask to add to your routine, this is the one to get. Highly recommended by both of us!

I just had the worst customer service experience on a call with Best Buy. I placed an order online and the item was to be delivered the next day (in fact, there were two items being delivered, one of which I received.) The whole day I’d been receiving txt messages saying my other item was being delivered by 9pm. Out of nowhere, at around 3pm, I get a message that the item was being returned to the shipper! I was home the whole day (and I have ring cameras everywhere) no one came to deliver this package and I certainly did not refuse the package. I called around 7:30pm to see if the item was still being delivered because I received and email saying it was back out for delivery tonight. The man said it was in deed still arriving tonight. Since I hadn’t gotten confirmation from any emails and the system still said updating back to shipping, I wanted to know for sure it was coming, so I called back. This person not only said my order wasn’t arriving, but also told me I was being refunded (which will take 10 days!) and I would have to repurchase the item in order to receive it sooner. There is no reason they couldn’t send out a new order for the item, since they had confirmed it was being processed to their shipping department already. Horrible customer service. Gives me zero incentive to repurchase there. Absolutely disgraceful.
