Good Product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to give this a 5 but I am really not a fan of the vibration on the head. I felt I couldn’t hear anything and it was just a lot going on and not relaxing. Otherwise great product, easy to use, and I loved it was cordless and wireless so I could move about freely with it on.

No go
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return as felt too claustrophobic. Bought the Shark version. No mouth or nose holes. Also, the massage is vibration. Shark has the eye cooling and that won over vibration feature.

High hopes, easy to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially ordered this mainly for my wife and sons. My wife has been interested in these masks for some time, and my kids have been dealing with acne, so it seemed like a great solution for both of them. We already have a few Therabody products for muscle recovery, and we’ve been quite pleased with those, so we went into this with high hopes. We’ve only been using it for a little over a week, and the instructions say that results might take a few weeks to show, so it’s a bit early to talk about results. I can say it’s super easy to use and feels comfortable when you’re wearing it. I thought I’d need to pair it with the app first, since other Therabody products pair with their app to unlock more features. However, when I tried to do this, it said the app wasn’t compatible with the Mask yet. The two controls for adjusting the light therapy and scalp massage are located on the sides of the mask. It can be a bit tricky to see at first. Once you get the hang of the button layout, it’s very intuitive to use. You can cycle through the three light modes and switch the scalp massage on and off. I’ve used it a few times, and the scalp massage has been my favorite part. It definitely helps me relax, and I feel great afterward. My wife and kids have also really enjoyed using it. The battery seems to last a long time. So far, we’re very happy using it and excited to start seeing results.

Does not charge
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought the more expensive one, less than a year, it stopped charging. They had me send it back ground. Did not contact me that they received it,or updates. I contacted them and they told me I need to wait while they look at it. Extremely dissatisfied. Worst customer service ever

A little me time…
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never used anything like this before and was kind of excited to try something new. The Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo is a bit overwhelming when you first see it. The mask is packed quite nicely it looks and feels luxurious and of a high quality material. I made sure to scan the QR code in the box, read the instructions, and watched the videos on how to operate the TheraFace Mask Glo. If you are unsure on weather or not to use this for your skin care routine, consult a dermatologist before using it. The TheraFace Mask Glo is surprisingly comfortable to wear, very easy to use and last several times before needing to be charged. I personally have some serious claustrophobia issues and was nervous the first time using the TheraFace Mask Glo, but I was able to use it without feeling anxious at all. I use the 12 minute preset going from red light to red light + infrared to blue light therapy. When the mask is using the red light therapies I keep my eyes closed because it is too bright even with the built in eye shields. I can open them with the blue light because that one doesn’t irritate my eyes. Honestly, I like just kicking back and resting my eyes for my 12 minute me time home spa treatment. There are so many lights they target all areas of your face during treatment. I’ve used the scalp massage feature several times, but that part I am not a huge fan of because it doesn’t feel relaxing for me. The Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo makes my skin feel soft after treatment and I have noticed some of the lines on my face getting smaller and definitely see the size of my pores getting smaller. The blue light therapy seems to help with my stubborn adult acne. I am still getting used to the treatments, but I do enjoy taking some time to pamper myself at home a few times a week.

Reverse the Lines and Circles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can admit that I am vain. My vanity introduced itself when someone pointed out that I looked tired and I had the exhausted circles under my eyes. And why wouldn’t I? I am always on the go from early morning to around ten at night. It catches up with you eventually. Plus, as a content creator, I want to look presentable. I’ve had experience with red light therapy in the past, and I was already a believer when it came to its ‘healing ways’. But, I will be honest, I am too lazy to use the small red light wand for each eye. I wanted something more hands-free, which is why I got this TheraFace Mask Glo. Setting up and using the TheraFace Mask is easy. Make sure it’s fully charged, wash and dry your face before using it, and you're good to go. The power button(s) are on each side of the mask. The right button starts the light therapy session (which runs about 13 minutes), while the button on the left controls the head massage. Personally, I opt out of the head massage because it’s distracting to me. You’re able to watch TV or play on your device while going through the light therapy session. Sure, the red lights around your eyes distort the colors of whatever you might be watching, but it’s not a deal breaker. There are times I will just recline in my chair and turn off my mind during the sessions. Does It Work? In the two weeks that I have been using my TheraFace Mask, I have noticed that my skin feels smoother and fuller. But more importantly, I definitely noticed that the puffy circles under my eyes are less pronounced. Again, this is only after two weeks of using the mask every night, so I am eager to see what the results will be in another two weeks. Comfort: The mask isn’t a burden. It doesn’t suffocate you. You can adjust the headband accordingly. The mask comes with built-in eye guards so that you are able to look around comfortably. I cannot say anything negative about this mask. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to look as good as you can. Treating yourself to the TheraFace Mask Glo is a cheat code to a fresher-looking self.

Time will tell
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mask fits perfectly and the head strap is designed to give a weightless feel (i.e. the weight is distributed across multiple points so it doesn't feel heavy like VR goggles). It's really easy to use-- there are buttons on both sides of the temple area of the mask to switch it on. When I first used it, I didn't realize that one side controls the massager and the other controls the light cycle. The 'massage' is kind of just an annoying buzz/vibration of the head straps-- I'm not sure it does anything beneficial. I certainly wouldn't describe it as relaxing... and I can't imagine that it's good for the brain. The light therapy is the beneficial part, and that works wonderfully. It leaves the skin with a warm feeling-- like you just worked out or were outside in the sun for a few minutes. That feeling comes from increased circulation which means the light therapy is doing its job. There are 3 light stages that work at varying depths, 2 red light cycles and then a 4-minute blue light cycle phase for a total of 12 minutes. The mask has a rubber-like seal around the eye area to prevent light-leak. It's not full-proof and you definitely want to ensure that the head strap is tight enough that you don't have the red light beaming directly into your eyes. The mask uses USB-C to recharge. I wish that it included a carrying case or storage pouch to keep it free of dust. Therabody makes one of the best light therapy masks on the market (based on my research) so this is the one to get if you're on the market for one.

TheraFace Mask Glo
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mask is very small and hard to get on. There is a thin plastic around the bottom which is not sturdy enough. I would not recommend this unless you have a very small head and thin hair!

Excited to see the results, but loving so far!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My partner and I absolutely love the Therabody Theraface Mask Glo. While it’s still too early to notice any reduction in wrinkles or tightening of skin, it’s a fun daily self-care routine with clinically-proven benefits. We really appreciate how easy it is to use. Just pop it on, press the button, decide if you want a massage, kick back and relax for 12 minutes. My partner and I would just each take a turn with it while watching tv on the couch. It has a pre-installed eye protection insert which is great since not all of them have that and it’s an absolute must to protect your eyes. We’ve been using it for more than a week now and still haven’t had to recharge it which is amazing. Both of us have skin that can be very easily irritated and neither the mask nor the red light therapy have caused any issues which is rare and amazing! While it is a larger up front cost, if you’ve ever gone to a clinic for red light therapy, it costs a session or two to just do it in the comfort of your own home regularly. I have very few cons about the Theraface Mask Glo, but they do relate to how it sits on the face. Particularly, it pulls on the eye sockets a little bit to the point where it leaves faint marks around the eyes. I don’t think they’re doing damage because the go away fast, but I do wonder if this is causing more harm than good? Time will tell as we continue to use it. Same goes for the massage function. It was not very comfortable for either us and worried that it was stretching our skin too much. The cons are small in comparison to the pros! I particularly love that it does a blue light cycle for acne. If you are in the market for an LED mask to help your skin out, the Theraface Mask Glo seems like a great option. Especially in comparison to the cost of going into a clinic for sessions! Pros: Easy to use One button control Self-timed sessions Face Massage option Blue light for acne! Pre-installed eye protection insert Cordless rechargeable Great battery life Around the cost of a session or two (Personally) no skin irritation Cons: Weighted in such a way that it pulls on eye skin Laying down leaves faint marks around eyes Massage function wasn’t particularly relaxing

Amplify your skin care regimen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So my family and I are firm believers in red light therapy for healing and the many other properties it brings to the table. We have a red light therapy sauna in the house and it’s amazing. The heat penetrates the body and it’s dry vs the typical wet sauna. But enough on those red lights, let’s discuss the Therabody mask. The premise behind the red light therapy in this mask is to reduce fine lines, and reduce skin sagging (under eyes, etc). So essentially it’s supposed to help tighten things up. The blue light? Helps kill bacteria and acne (Where was this when I was a teenager). So it fights current acne causing bacteria and helps prevent the new bacteria from growing. One other cool thing it has is a massager that hits you on the temples. When you lean back and wear the mask the added massage adds to the experience in a positive and soothing manner. With things like this I like to highlight the pros and cons of the product. I find the pros usually outweigh the cons and the cons almost seem petty like I’m searching for a reason to say something negative. That is not the case here. Although simple, my cons are legit. Pros: I love the idea of having both types of lights in one product. This could easily be sold as two different devices and people would buy it. But integrating them both together is smart. As I stated up front I’m a fan of red light therapy and know the value of it. Although I have not had enough time with the product to see results, I have a wife that is using it religiously and will see those results before me. I still struggle with adult acne at times, so I’m hoping this helps. Based on the literature enclosed, this mask has the credentials to do what they claim. And I did my research in this one. This is the exact product my wife wanted and we looked at a lot of them. Most knock offs make the promises, but their light coverage is poor as are the LEDs. Cons: It’s fairly heavy. I’m sure it has to do with the tech packed into the mask so I’m good with it. I tend to sit back and rest on a pillow for the 12 minute sessions. Also, I would have liked do it to come with some sort of storage container or bag. For now I'm using the box it came in and I’ll look around for an option like a nice bag or something like that. For the price point, I would have liked to get some sort of way to protect it when not in use. Those are my only two gripes. Small points, but valid given the time I’ve spent with the product. At the end of the day, yes I would definitely recommend this to someone that wants to amplify their skin care routine. And given the fact I have a few teenagers developing acne at my house, this is going to be great for them too. Thanks for reading.

Quality device - comfortable to wear and soothing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this for my wife so she has helped with this review. We have many products from Therabody. They are mostly Theraguns which are products we use multiple times every day. The TheraFace Mask Glo is a quality product which is something we expect from Therabody. The setup was easy and the device came fully-charged so she could start using it immediately. The mask is comfortable but definitely is heavier that we expected. My wife finds that the massage/vibrating function of the mask is very soothing. At first it seemed to tickle, but eventually she got used to it. She finds the soothing massage helps her to relax after a hard day. One of the features of the mask is the Red, Red + Infrared and Blue light treatment. According to the instructions, it can take at least 12 weeks or so before you can see noticeable improvement. As of this writing, it has only been about a week or so since it was delivered. We expect to continue to use the mask and will update the review after we have given it a good chance to take hold. This is an unusual product but we feel there is solid science and research that went into the development of the product. So far, we give a positive review on the benefits of this item. We look forward to watching for new products from Therabody.

Delivers results!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom Line: The mask delivers powerful skin benefits in a sleek design, but there are comfort issues around the eyes, which might be a drawback for some users. Pros: Skin is noticeably softer after three uses; powerful light output; mask stays cool during use. Cons: The mask is heavy; leaves pressure marks around the eyes. The built-in eye protection is uncomfortable. Review: The mask is easy to use and delivers visible results. After just a few sessions, my skin felt noticeably softer. The light is strong, which is great for effectiveness, but I had to start with short sessions since my skin is sensitive. That gradual approach helped me avoid irritation. One of the best features is that the mask stays cool throughout the treatment. I expected some warmth, but it remained comfortable the entire time. Additionally, the mask is quite heavy. I definitely feel the weight during each session, and it leaves pressure marks around my eyes afterward. The built-in eye protection doesn’t sit well and adds to the discomfort. I’m considering using separate eye shields to improve the experience. Despite the comfort issues, the mask performs well and delivers noticeable skin improvements. If you’re looking for results and don’t mind a bit of bulk, it’s a solid option. I would recommend this to a friend—with a heads-up about the eye area.

The tension relieving part was an awesome surprise
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is surprisingly tension relieving, my wife has been wanting one of these and has been using it consistently since we got it, I have been using it as well. I do not deal with acne I have wrinkles but as I’m not yet 40 I could not see anything visible in the couple of weeks that I’ve had it, what has been noticeable for my wife is that during her time of the month the acne on her face that usually breaks out was none almost completely none existent. Her under chin area broke out as usual but not her face, so it was extremely noticeable for her, to the point that she wants on that covers the neck too. For me the really weird feeling vibration is extremely relaxing, when I first put the mask on and tried it out it thought it was extremely weird and figured I’d get a headache from the vibration in about 30 seconds… but within that time it did the opposite. That is really what hooked me and has gotten me to use it more and more often especially before bed as it just makes any tension leak out. Overall, the hardest thing for me to remember is which side is the off switch, and which side changes the mode settings… but I only need to remember that for 10 seconds while I put the mask on. I personally like the second setting of four. The first setting is a low vibration, the second a more intense vibration, the third setting is high then low vibration, and the last is no vibration. I just set it to the higher vibration setting every time personally. My wife prefers the lower vibration and sometimes no vibration. I think the biggest issue my wife has with the mask is that she has to share it right now.

Easy to use red light therapy mask
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TheraFace Mask Glo is Therabody’s follow up red light face mask that gives consumer’s an entry point into their red-light therapy mask line at a much lower price point. The new mask does have ~150 fewer red lights than it’s more expensive brother, which means the session run time is increased from 9 – 12 mins. While the extra runtime isn’t a huge deal, I will say I get a little antsy wearing the mask after 10 mins. The reduction in LEDs means that it weighs less than the other model. Since I have not had a chance to try its more expensive sister, I can’t compare the weight, but the Glo does not feel heavy on my face, but my wife says it is a little heavy on her. On top of the red / blue lights from the mask, there are also three vibration modes that you can use (they can be activated w/o the lights on if you just want the messaging feature). I personally find the second mode: the consistent higher vibration the best. The mask comes with a removable eye shield that blocks most of the light from coming into your eyes (Similar to how swim goggles fit). I do wish the seal was a little better around the bottom of your so it would better block the light. They do allow you to see clearly out of the mask and you can do most normal functions while using the mask. I do wish the mask had some breathing holes in it. While I have no issues breathing while using the mask, the air does get a little stuffy when wearing it for 12 mins. The one thing I can’t comment on at this time is the results of this mask. Being that my wife and I have only had the mask for a couple of weeks, it is too early to see the effects. One thing to note is that my wife has a sensitive face and she has not noticed any irritation from using the mask.
