I am familiar with Theragun from my rehab of my knee at my physical therapist. I purchased a $60 gun to just get me by, then I made the investment into this little guy, don't regret it. It is a with a motor so it makes noise, don't expect any of this massage guns to be silent, set that expectation. Easy to travel with, battery holds a long charge. totally pleased with this massage gun, surprisingly easy to hold as well.
