She was interested in a Theragun but had never used one. So, this smaller and cheaper model seemed like a good place to start. This model is better than expected, easy to hold and very powerful, we haven’t gotten past the low speed yet.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Now the mini is portable enough but I wouldn’t call it pocket sized like they state in the instructions manual, as it will never fit into any pockets on any of my clothes. I own both the Theragun Pro and the mini and I think the mini is best suited for most people. The mini is much light than its siblings and it strikes a good balance of weight, portability, and noise level. One of the biggest issues I had with my Theragun pro was the noise level. I measured the ambient noise level of my home and got a reading of 38 decibels. With the Theragun pro on high the noise level went up to 70 decibels which is the same level as being in traffic. The Theragun mini on high came in at 59 decibels which is the sound level of normal conversation. One area where the theragun pro does major work is on my leg muscles. The mini just can’t compete due to the lack of power. However, the mini is perfect for following tendons, ligaments, and nerves like an IT band or ligaments around the elbow. Happy having both for different reasons and see the only con of the mini being that it lacks the power of it’s bigger brothers…but that’s not such a fair comparison anyway.
