    USB-C charging makes it perfect

I was excited to try the new Theragun because the biggest pain (no pun intended) for me with my current Elite model (last generation) is the need to always charge it on the proprietary charger. I would always default to my mini with USB-C because I never had to suffer battery anxiety or think about going up to my room to charge it up. For reference, I’m not an athlete, but I use all of my massage devices to massage after workouts and relieve sciatica/back pain issues. My wife uses them after she sleeps funny or sometimes just lies down on one under a pillow and lets it vibrate her back (she’s weird). Needless to say, we share all these devices and I never know how much battery is in it so it’s always has me thinking about if there’s enough juice for a massage session. Knowing that the Elite is a little bit more powerful than the new Prime (or at least has a bit more travel) I was wondering how it would stack up. I’m OK with the Mini so the Prime feels more than powerful enough for me. I think the vast majority of people would be okay with the power of any product in the Theragun lineup.. They new convenience with USB-C charging makes this device my new go to.

I finally have had some time with the Theragun Prime. COming from owning the original Theragun and the mini version, this was a massive upgrade. First off, this thing has some weight to it, but its much more ergonomically designed to facilitate easier self treatment. I was able to handle my back and shoulders much easier. That being said, it comes with two tips, and I can tell they changed the tip design to be much more forgiving and softer. It no longer feels like im being beat with a hammer. The other flatter tip as well. This has pressure sense on it to show how much pressure is being applied, and has variable speeds that can get really intense. Then you can pair it with the app and have guided sessions of recovery which was cool. Inside the box it came with cards showing the proper techniques to use to get the most out of the gun ( circle 8 motions etc). After using it for about a week, I can say my legs and shoulders are much more relaxed and recovered. The muscles feel much more energized and i don't feel like i got beat up and sore. I felt refreshed.

This theragun came nicely packaged from my local carrier. Unboxing was simple, and the gun itself comes with a nice case to keep it stored away or just all together. Inside the case is the theragun , charging cable, another head , and some pamphlets. Really though I’m not interested in the pamphlet or anything except how does this theragun perform and will it help my body recover and help my muscles feel relaxed. I’m not a pro on massagers I do have a massage chair that we use from time to time but it’s a little rough and hurts a bit and while some might like this I prefer a more constant sustainable pressure that doesn’t hurt, The theragun hits the the spot with five speeds so I can easily pick and choose how much pressure to apply. Using the gun is really easy it’s light enough for me to hold for extended periods although the vibration does wear me out after a while. Another great thing is the motor is super quiet and I was expecting some noise considering the power of this gun. Recovery was not felt I hit my thighs and shoulders for 15 min and I was expecting to be a little sore the next day but I felt great like I could use this everyday. Overall I really love this and thank you for including a case for it. Highly recommend

Therabody makes some of the best wellness products

Honestly speaking, It should go without writing or saying that Therabody is very well known for their incredible handheld and portable massage devices. With each generation of products, the improvements on the devices are noticeable but the results on your body are absolutely prevalent. The triangular shape of the Theragun prime is incredibly well built and ergonomic so it is very easy to hold for longer massage sessions. I have the 4th generation prime and the new 6th generation is audibly quieter (which was never really an issue for me). It also has more reinforce corners and a more durable rubber so should you accidentally drop it, the device should continue working. This device comes with (2) attachments, one being a dampener for more sensitive muscles which does a phenomenal job on aches and pains. It also comes with a standard ball which is good for all muscle groups. Depending on my workout I will swap between the two which work well. I have used these daily and genuinely feel strong relief post workouts. This also has a really neat companion app that works via bluetooth which provide you with personalized recommendations. While the app works great and it does offer nice recommendations, I find that I do not use it simply because I know where my aches and pains are by feel. Overall, like all Therabody products past and present, these are incredible devices and I cannot recommend them enough.

    Incredible Upgrade from Previous Version

The Theragun Prime (6th Generation) is a definite upgrade from the previous version that I had been using for many years. The Theragun Prime (6th Generation) helps relieve pain and speeds up recovery from working out, or simply the stress from a long day sitting in the office working. The shape and form of the new version makes it much easier for reaching those tight muscles in your back. While it doesn't look a whole lot different, these small adjustments in design are very noticeable. The vibration of the 6th generation of the Theragun Prime is significantly smoother than the older version, providing a more therapeutic affect on tight muscles etc. It loosens up muscles and helps you get on with your day. If your someone who enjoys to run or workout regularly, but feels a tighness in your muscles you'll definitely benefit from the Theragun Prime (6th Generation). If you're someone who spends long hours sitting at a desk working, you'll also feel the benefit too. Most of us are probably doing both.
