It says quit but seems pretty loud to me but the power is awesome. Really makes a difference for warmup and recovery

I’ve seen all the rage about these before online, but never understood the benefit until having this one in my hands. I’ve used countless massaging tools before, but nothing has even come close to achieving what this unique device accomplishes. If you’ve ever wished you could quickly beat a sore or tight muscle into submission, this can help you do that very easily! The Theragun’s 30lbs of percussive force really digs deep and looses up muscles, especially for someone who mainly sits at a desk all day. The Prime is almost impossible to stall out and can really vibrate your body to no end. I found changing the tips out made a huge difference depending on what you were attempting to massage. It includes a dampener, a thumb, a ball, and a cone. Using a smaller diameter tip like a ball on something near bone, can cause the device to almost kick back since you’re hitting a “hard” surface. If you’re directly targeting muscle, the smaller diameter tips allow you to go deeper in and hit a little harder into a specific knot. I found using the ball or cone was a better attachment for doing my neck, as I could run a little lighter pressure, but still hit the muscle without causing my eyesight to be shaken into oblivion. Using the larger tips near bones or ribs works well without kicking the device back. Additionally, I found working an area using a larger tip, and then going deeper with a smaller tip helped to loosen muscles up easier, as well as get used to the vibration and pressure the device creates. I initially thought I might struggle with a tingly sensation with all the vibration, which is what usually happens with a handheld massager, but I didn’t really find that to be the case here. I initially felt some of that, but it quickly went away as I learned how to use the device, and found what tips worked best, where. The device is also Bluetooth enabled and comes with a companion app which is completely optional to use. Starting out, the app was extremely useful as it gave suggestions and instructions on how to do different “treatments” and has a very convenient pressure graph that reads out as you’re massaging things. This was very helpful is learning what to massage for different things, how long to do certain areas, how hard I needed to press, etc. After a few days, I found myself often just using the manual mode though as I didn’t need to watch my phone. The device is fairly quiet, but does make some noise. It’s something that outside of a closed room won’t bother anyone, but don’t plan on using it next to a sleeping significant other without waking them up. I’ve not used a previous model of these, but this generation is supposed to be quieter. While the device is obviously not silent, the noise level is not distracting to use. One minor thing I noted was the metal shaft can get quite warm while in use, and that you may need to be careful of the grease on that shaft as well. I found I could accidentally smear some grease on my fingers as I changed tips. Overall, my life has been significantly better with the Theragun, especially with recent stay at home orders restricting normal massages I was getting. I find myself using this device every single day, and it makes a huge difference in how I feel, and how quickly I can truly relax and unwind after work. I would highly recommend for anyone needing a handheld massager for any reason!

Worked great for a few days, then the battery started to drain really fast. Claims 120 minutes of on time but after a few days lasts less than 25 when fully charged.

Was so looking forward to this as an athlete. Device is extremely loud, massager does not penetrate enough for a deep massage. Extremely expensive, would be worth it if it helped.

Too strong, it’s built well and the attachments are good but their should be a softer setting to ease yourself into the massage. It’s too much too fast. It actually hurt me using it.

A bit noisy when you trying to watch a movie at the same time and a little pricey. But a great product overall I love it!
