My wife has arthritis in her shoulder as well as muscle knots in her arms. When I first bought it for her I thought that it may be too loud for us to stay in the same room and watch TV together but I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is much softer than I expected and she said that it is very effective. She loves it!

We bought this for Mom's birthday - she has a lot of back and neck pain from her job. It really seems to be able to loosen up knots and penetrate deep into muscles. The whole family has taken to it and we enjoy using the several different attachments. Some dig deeper, some hit harder, some are more general. Very hand size, easy to use, charge and store. Can't say yet whether it has any long-term therapeutic value but it brings relief and feels great on sore or tired muscles.

I ended up ordering this product online through Best Buy and not receiving it, but I went out and bought it from a store anyway because I was really excited about. It's an Absolutely GREAT product. Like having a personal masseuse at home! Great for muscle recovery and also for activation of muscles before a work out. Even if you are not super athletic or active, you won't be sorry. Different speed settings with different intensity levels as well. You won't be sorry.

I don't do gimmicky items. This is not a gimmick. This is the first massage gun that has actually been worth every penny. It takes some getting used to how much it actually penetrates, but I always feel so awesome after I use it. It has helped my recovery times from the gym a lot. I chose this over the more expensive model because I knew I would use all the different attachments and so far that has proven true. It's great straight out of the box!

Best option I’ve found for a deeper massage

The Theragun has been a great option for me to get a deeper massage on my calves and hamstrings than when using things like a foam roller. Overall I would recommend it if you’ve tried a number of other less expensive solutions that haven’t worked for you or if you want something that can give you a fairly deep massage quickly. Pros: + Multiple tips allow for use on multiple areas + Easier for me to get a deeper massage on legs + Variable speeds + Gun is fairly comfortable/easy to hold Cons: - A bit expensive, so you really have to use it regularly to get the value - Tips are one more thing to keep track of - Battery life is just okay

This massager is fairly solid but with some misses. The misses include not achieving the "total battery life" of 120 minutes - it's more like 30-40 minutes on the lowest setting (whomever touted "120 minutes" of total battery life should be shown the door and flip burgers for a living), it gets pretty warm/hot after about 12-15 minutes of continuous use, there's no automatic shutoff, and there's some evident "bleed" of the plastic around the switch/control. Last night, after about 20 uses, the power button failed to work and the device wouldn't charge - and, then it woke up, so I'll be keeping an eye on this $300 device and I'm glad I used a credit card that extends the warranty 2 years...
