I’ve been using the Therabody Sense (2nd generation) Relaxing Massage for about two weeks now. It’s really great at easing muscle tension, stiffness and tightness. It’s the perfect size, lightweight enough to work the shoulder and neck area and enough pressure for deep tissue massage. It comes with two heads, one for that kind of deeper massage, and one that is “softer” for a smoother relaxing massage. The included carry case is perfect to store the USB-C charging cable and massage heads. The Sense 2 massager works best in tandem with the Therabody smartphone app. The app provides some structure for your massage sessions, complete with video tutorials, a timer to track each area of massage, and even guidance on which head to use and how much pressure to apply. Using Bluetooth, your phone app takes care of all the settings on the unit, you just follow the on-screen instructions. It takes out all the guesswork for a stress-free massage. Since I already own Therabody’s SmartGoggles, I already had the app on my smartphone and just needed to add the device to get started with using the massager. The sessions are generally short and easy to complete, mostly lasting between 4 and 9 minutes. and include morning, afternoon, and evening routines. You have several more options to explore, tailored specifically to warm-up and post-recovery from your normal daily workouts such as running or weight training. Of course, the unit can operate independent of the app, using up and down buttons to adjust vibration intensity. As a senior with a growing list of aches and pains, I personally find the hip, neck and shoulder massage the most beneficial and enjoyable. A neck and shoulder massage is especially nice just before bedtime and it even helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep. I really cannot think of any negatives with the unit itself other than it would be nice if it came with the wedge head that is recommended in some of their sessions. I also sometimes find myself accidentally hitting the power switch when maneuvering the massager to reach around with the unit overhead. With a bit of practice, it should be fine. Battery life is excellent. I can confidently recommend the Therabody Sense as a quality massager with a host of smart features that only make it better.

The Therabody Theragun Sense 2nd Gen is amazing. I do kind of with it had more speed setting but overall it gets the job done. The Therabody mobile app helps guide you on how to use the massager and best places to use it. The massager itself feels very well built and easy to grab to give yourself the much-needed massage. The Theragun comes with to heads one that is softer than the other. Therefore, if you like massages but not too rough it has the adapter for you and if you are the kind that likes it a little rougher it is also made for you. It comes with a nice little carrying bag and charging cables that are needed. The battery life is perfect and last long enough that you can take it with you to work and use it for a day and you will still have charge left at the end of the day. Overall, this massager will help you relax and get a better rest. Either using the app or doing it manually, I believe this is a great addition when you are traveling and just needing that simple relaxing moment.
