It’s too loud compare to other brands. Also too expensive for the quality. I would recommend this product only if you do not care how loud it is and the price tag.

I'll admit, my only exposure to this type of massager was online ads for jigsaw attachments that would essentially accomplish the same thing. I certainly wasn't going to try that out, but I did want an alternative to the roller I was using to limited effect. While I can't speak authoritatively on any health benefits of using this type of massage tool, I can say that it's been working well for me. Using this also enables me to target more areas, and more specific areas than I could with the roller. The adjustable angle on the head allows me to reach any area I want comfortably. Being battery powered, you also don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way, and there's even a second battery included so you can keep one on the charger while using the other. However, in the week I've been using this, the battery level indicator has hardly budged. You also don't need to worry about it being underpowered because it's running off a battery rather than a wall current. This delivers more than enough power. I think my only criticism of it is that it always starts up on the high setting, and I have to then switch it to the low setting.

    THERAGUN Takes Out The Trash!

Finding THERAGUN is like striking gold! Somehow the designers figured out how to drive 2400 rpms in a cordless unit that puts the competition on its heels. For the less rugged or more tender areas, 1750 rpms is the stepped down setting. I got hooked on percussive massage years ago when I started with the corded Sharper Image THUMPER. Since I do percussion massage within a daily meditation, yoga, etc routine, I put a lot of miles on a body work machine; so, I had been on the lookout for an option with muscle penetration comparable to the THUMPER with a decent warranty. So when the engine burned out of my second THUMPER, I settled on BROOKSTONE's corded model as an interim solution, especially when their cordless model proved lackluster. Then comes THERAGUN offering CORDLESS models from $250 to $599.with triple the force of older generataions. As expected, the highest price point is the most accessorized; but, nonetheless, great for anyone at any level. The Pro is specially tooled for the seasoned or amateur athlete who trains for health and fitness as well as the professional athlete who may require more intensely therapeutic pre- and post- workout sessions. Without a partner or practitioner, you do need a level of muscularity, dexterity and creativity to maneuver the almost 3 lb device. The different grips, adjustable gunner affords easiest access to the front side while lying down, sitting or standing. Reaching the back and shoulders requires experimentation to find best gripping configurations. For instance lying down on my back and after loosening up my spine with a rolling motion, I curl my legs up to my chest or hold them straight up to easily reach feet, calves, backs of thighs, buttocks and hips. BTW, I didn't see the following suggestion in the manual; but, when gripping the pole that holds the hammering mechanism as secondary to the grip of the triangle, increased stability and ease can be achieved in adjusting pressure and angle while guiding the head to various target points.for front, the back and shoulders. Whether you are a practitioner or a 'civilian', the Pro offers 6 accessory heads that can be easily popped off and back on to switch between options. Favorite, so far, has been the Wedge to achieve a multitude of depths at different angles. . As well, switching between the two levels of rpms (1750 to 2400) is an easy adjustment at the power switch to accommodate varying tolerances. If you like the convenience and cost efficiency of home based massage, this machine could make the LMTs nervous but best to stay calm because our growing and consuming populations will always require human touch in the final analysis. So, though the investment is high end, the machine is top shelf and worthy of, at the very least, exploration by the consumer to establish a basis for comparison to the lesser newcomers to the field. Download the THERAGUN App to locate nearby dealers to demo in person all of the brand's options and respective price points to make an informed decision. Thankfully, the APP offers a legible tour of the FAQs, financing options, easy online 2 yr warranty registration, a pictorial guide with action steps to address a variety of issues and conditions. Be sure to browse all pages because there are precautionary tips such as refrain from using the device on your head and neck, something I needed to hear because I have to default to my old, lighter device to avoid getting my hair tangled in the percussive motion of the Pro . Also, without APP tips on how to extend the life of the batteries AND the charger, I would not get the full value from my device. Unlike in other similar purchases, I also learned that THERAGUN and each of its attachments holds a specific warranty duration. So, read or later regret that you hadn't. BTW, the packaging is richly rugged and appointed beyond expectation! Comes with travel case, a charger for TWO Samsung lithium ion batteries, affording a quick rotation when/if more than a 75 min session is required. Cordless tech affords the freedom and flexibility l like in my lawnmower, my vacuum cleaners and now, with relief, in my percussive massager...and, hopefully, in an EV. For best results, use percussive massagers as tools that mobilize the body's circulation to 'take out the trash'. In other words, daily metabolic cellular activity creates waste product, athletic activity creates higher levels of interstitial inflammation and, moreover, detox protocols targeting heavy metals, chemicals, harmful microbes and PTSD, all create catarrh seeking release. Adjust your expectations to recognize that for optimal results, increased levels of body/mind work and nutrition are required to assist with the release of inflammation and the source of specific health challenges. Don't leave any stone unturned in the exploration of the multitude of homeopathics, botanicals, sarcodes, nosodes, minerals, flower essences, and their respective bioenergetic protocols to eliminate the culprits that drive a particular health challenge. But, like acupuncture and other body work tools, percussive massage is an essential but complementary tool for daily detox, pain management and the mitigation of premature aging. With rising industrial wastes in our food, air and water complicated by BigPharm and RecreationalPharm, our health issues are increasingly complicated and poly-systemic, requiring far more than a 'silver bullet approach'. THERAGUN can assist the body within a comprehensive plan for stress management as well as the restoration and maintenance of optimal metabolic balance. While moving toxins into drainage pathways that are the lymphatic system, the lungs, the GI tract, the skin, do not suppress the expression of toxic waste from your tissues. Instead, celebrate when you cough up gunk and have increased bowel and renal activity. You are doing the right thing when you lighten the load on your immune system. I can frankly say THERAGUN PRO was my wisest choice of all options when I released more today than yesterday as compared to using my old, vastly less rigorous device.

I am a big believer in the benefits of massage therapy. Because of costs, this isn't sustainable very long periods of time. Currently, we're in the midst of a home renovation and weekends are spent climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, hammering, pushing, pulling...needless to say come Sunday afternoon I'm beat. Normally, when either my wife or I are sore, we will ask the other for a massage. The problem is we're *both* sore, especially our hands so a home massage is out of the question. Enter Theragun G3 Pro. Theragun uses percussive therapy to massage your sore muscles. This is different from the normal vibration movement that you see in other massage products. I won't get into the rest of the science as it isn't my place, but whatever it does - it works. The G3 Pro comes with 2 swappable batteries, though as a home user I can't see sitting through two batteries worth and the life of a single battery is impressive. My wife and I both used the G3 and a single battery lasted long enough for both of us to feel better. The G3 Pro also comes with multiple attachments depending on what body part you're working on. We ended up using the largest attachment or overall work, but some of the others will work well for more targeted work. The other attachments cost $20/each, so this is a good value vs buying individual ones. The G3 also offers two different speeds. Honestly, I thought the highest speed was a bit aggressive, but I can see where it would be great on larger muscles like legs and back. My wife and I both fell in love with it. Having the ability to control how much pressure and where it's applied is a great benefit - without needing to schedule an appointment for a massage.

Finally a home treatment for sore legs & bad back!

Ive had a bad back for years. I was overweight for quite awhile which I am sure didnt help. So I decided to get back into shape and started jogging. Well this sure helped with losing weight, but also caused some aches and pains in the legs since they arent used to it. But even worse is my bad back I have had for so long. I never know when its going to “go out” but when it does it almost completely immobilizes me. Well for so long all I had was OTC pain meds to help, occasional ER visits, or just sit it out and wait for it to get better. Well with the Theragun I have something that really helps my sore running legs, and even my back finally!! In the box you get the G3 Pro, a carrying case, 2 batteries, the charger, 6 attachments, and the manual. Theres not much set up other than charging the batteries and getting to it. There is also an accompanying app with guides and other info on how to get the most from the G3 Pro. It has 2 speed settings, an adjustable arm, and I love the swappable batteries. You can charge one while using the other and keep it always at the ready this way. I wish more electronics went with this option. It also comes with a nice case for taking to the gym (or anywhere you might need it). I love that it has so many tips as well. This allows you to really get into the areas you need to get to. For me like I said the main use is for my lower back and with the adjustable arm I have no issues getting to the spot I need. Which is just on the left and right of my spine on the lower back. It feels so good. It has a very strong pressure which is perfect since the lower back pain is fairly deep. It easily digs in there and works the area. For my sore legs after a jog I just switch tips and am able to massage my calves, thighs, and hamstrings as well. In no time I feel more loose and have less pain and can get on with my day. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that has chronic (or even occasional) pain. It really does help. After years of pain and my back constantly “going out”. Then needing to go to the doctors for injections, med costs, and usually only getting minor relief if any gets old really quick. But now having a way to help with the aches, pains, and stiffness all at home is great.

I must admit I don't completely understand the science behind it, but the Theragun G3Pro just works. It helps me recover faster after a hard workout and that's all I really have to understand. You just have to commit to the extra time it takes to use it. A word of advice...read the instructional information in the app. One example--if you are experiencing soreness or pain, it only takes 15-30 seconds on that location. Doing more, though you might want to, will only exacerbate the problem. That having been said, I can attest to the technology in the G3Pro that helps relieve pain. Again, don't understand how it works, but it does. The Theragun G3Pro is expensive. No doubt about it. But one could argue the pain relief alone is worth the price, not to mention shortened recovery times.
