    Used this dock to retrieve info from a damaged external HD. Used to use one of these for file transfer at my old job. You have to power down and eject in a certain order for best results. Works fine though.

    My computer crashed before I could back up all of my pictures. With 4 kids we had a ton! This was an easy to use docking station. I couldn't believe how quickly I was able to retrieve my data. Highly recommend!

    Use this on my desktop at home and work to scan drives I suspect may have a virus. Itvis easy to pop drive into slot and scan also use it for cloning

    Great docking station I am an IT professional and many times I will have clients bring computers to me where their best option is to retrieve the data and put it on the new machine. This docking station allows me to dark to hard drives, clone them if I need or want to, or to simply leave one or two hard drives docked to my main computer for extra storage. The drives are spaced away from each other enough to allow for plenty of airflow to keep them from overheating. I use this dark both on windows and Mac and I have absolutely no trouble. I bought the stock one other time, ended up giving it to a friend then I missed it so much I went and bought it again so I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a dual hard drive docking station.

    The Thermaltake - BlacX Duet Hard Drive Enclosure Docking Station filled the bill after my previous DS had a switch failure. This one is easy to use and can support to HDDs at the same time.

    Subject says it all. This is a super fast usb 3 transfer rate and the drives are plug and play. Works great from transferring from and old hard drive to a new one or duplicating or even forensics.

    I bought this to try and recover data from a failed my book drive but the I/o board is no good. Guess I can use this for swapping out main hard drives. Works as advertised, easy to install.
