Easy plug and play

This is the USB drive reader I've been looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This 2 drive reader allows you to put two different disks, one in each slot, and it reads and writes to both separate drives. NOTE: if you have a drive mounted and put another drive in the second slot, it seems to dismount the first drive (at least that's what appeared to happen one time). So starting it up with either one or two drives seems to work best. I have not tried formatting both drives at the same time, but I suspect it would work.

Works as Intended

Needed a way to get the data off so I picked this up. Recommended by the salesperson who said he has the same one. It's pretty simple. Plug in the power cord and the USB cord and you're good to go. Hard drive went in and started transferring.

Good quality dock, but slow to wake & spool drives
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I'm happy to have a second dock, and a dual drive dock is nice, but the drives take extra time to spool up, and transfer rate is much slower than with my eSATA dock. But it works very well, and am happy with it. I'd recommend it to those whose computer doesn't have an eSATA port on it.

Great product..

I was getting ready to take it back when I decided to update my computer first since I haven't done it in a while, I wanted to give it one last try before I head out the door and thank goodness it works like a charm.
