I use it for copying hard drives to SSD. Very fast transfer for my purposes.

Awesome enclosure works as it should and is able to dock SSDs and HDs from desktops and laptops (2.5 and 3.5). You are also able to make changes such as writing or deleting. My motgerboard died on my desktop and this is a cheap way to transfer information from a hard drive with a dead box. Just remove hard drive from cpu case. Then mount it to the enclosure and connect it vua usb to a working pc.

I bought this product to retrieve some data from the Hard Drive of my old laptop which crashed. I found it to be convenient and easy to use. The only issue I had was that the my HD contained some screws that prevented it from sliding down into the slot. I had to remove the screws and then it worked.

My computer died and in years past this meant taking the computer to some over-priced shop to have them retrieve the date. Not any more. This device allows me to read and retrieve anything and everything from the hard drive from my dead computer. Best purchase in a very long time. Love it. Love it. Love it.

This is a adapter so You can access a hard disc drive with Your 3.0 usb ports. I plugs into a 110 ac outlet and Your computer usb slot Plug the hard drive in .. either 3.5 pc sata drive or 2.5 laptop sata drive and enables You to read and access the data on those drives. works really good. and a Great Price!

I access hard drives with easy, but I with the thing came with instructions on how to access your data. For some reason, I can't locate my files. To be fair, the issue could be the user (me) and not the device.

I purchased this item after my main hard became corrupted and would not boot up windows. I purchased a new computer, but put my two older hard drives into this dock and was able to salvage my files. My old computer was purchased in 2008 and was due for replacement anyway. This unit operates quickly and can use solid state drives as well as 2.5 and 3.5 HDD. Excellent purchase!

This device did exactly what I needed it to do. I didn't even have to read the manual.

I had 2 eSATA drives(600GB, 500GB) that came out of a replaced computer, and wanted to keep all of the data on them, but not the computer. VOILA!! I bought this neat little package, and all I had to do was plug them in, hook up the USB cable, and turn them on. The setup is simple. If you have another drive, you can push the eject button, pull out the previous one, and plug in another! It is fantastic!

This was very simple to use and connecting to the computer was simple and quick.

It's a very good unit for data recovery. It also serves as an external hard drive.

This dock is great for recovering files off drives where the OS will no longer boot.
