Works as advertised. Accommodates a variety of drive sizes and styles. Hot swapping capability works fine. Because it is a connected periphery device some additional lag in seek/read/write over the installed drive specs can be expected, but not an issue for most applications or uses.

I took the hard drive from my dead pic and was able to retrieve all my files.

I found this product very useful. I had two useable hard drives from an old computer & I wanted an external solution to use them. In the past I would only find casings to install hard drives in, but this solution is much better. It's plug and play setup makes it easy to use up to two drives at once and hot swap with other hard & SSDs the way diskette drives once did.

This makes moving data between drives really easy! Very easy to set up and use.

The product met my needs and not only was it useful it was easy to use.

Initially, I was unable to tell if the device was working, and the instructions were minimum. (Turned out I had a bad hard drive....). Past the bad drive and it worked great. Only complaint? Drives are bit hard to tell if they have been seated. Probably loosen up over time. Just feels like you need a little extra muscle than should be needed with electronic devices. Outside that, its perfect.

The Product seems to support only TWO "logical drives" ... In other words if you want TWO physical Drives to work at the same time be sure to make them each Single Volume drives using only one Drive Letter. Other than that I've had no problems with the item. Works as claimed.

Works like a charm. I attached it to my xbox one to expand its memory and it has worked from the moment I first connected it withough an issue. A previous enclosure that I used would disconnect from time to time, and even caused me to loose some data once so I'm really happy with the performance of this guy!

If you're like me, you have a stack of old lower capacity drives yanked from former PCs, but really aren't certain you pulled all the important files off. Or, you want an economical temporary storage solution that also offers great flexibility. This unit does it all. It's quick to access your old data and do things just like it was in a slot inside your PC. Hot-swappable it is. I love it!

Very easy to setup. Plug in the drives, the usb cable and follow the directions.

My Computer went out and I didn't have all my documents and pictures downloaded to my thumb drives as was my normal routine but it had been sometime sense I had back up my data and needed to retrieve Lots of data...Removed hard drive from old computer and inserted it in docking station and was I pleased... Retrieved all my data and now had an extra storage devise... Very Happy Camper....

Super easy to use pretty much plug and play. Great way to transfer files.

I had recently lost my home in a fire, and my PC was one of the few things they were able to get out. The computer as a whole was a mess, but the hard drive looked salvageable. I was able to use this device to access the HDD, and all of my files (including years of wildlife photos), without issue!

I've had a few HDD sitting around from old PC builds that I used to have and never gotten the chance to get back into the files. This allows me to bypass the hassle of installing those hard drives into functioning computers and lets me just connect the drives directly to a PC via USB. A must have for anybody who works with computers enough to hold on to hard drives.
