I lost my the graphics card on my Mac. My machine refused to boot. I needed the data on my hard drive so I could keep working. This did the trick I was able to get to my data from another system with no problem at all.

Only used with one 3.5 inch hard drive. Purchased in August 2017 and it went out on January 2018. While it worked, it worked great. Good speeds and no problems. It stopped working one day. Tried connecting it to different PCs with different cables and no luck. The drive spins up and then shut offs. The hard drive works in different enclosures. Avoid it if you can.

I was worried that I couldn't get access to my hard drive because the on off button broke and it would cost more than what computer is worth. This item I purchased allowed me to retrieve and save my files.

Was looking for way to extend storage and this fits the bill. USB3 speeds down to SATA drives and allows for easy additional storage that I can pull offline when desired.

Plug and play, worked fine in OS X and RAID disk pair was correctly recognized by the OS. Also worked using a thunderbolt to USB3 adapter.

Works great! Had a power surge that took out the computer. This gadget retrieved all data from both hard-drives and only cost about $50.00 Best Buy Geek Squad would have likely charged upwards to around $100.00

I found few old drives around. So I got this product to see what may be on old drives. Found lots of photos that I thought I'd lost for ever. Now I have my past photos back. And backing them up. Great blessing

I had an older model of this one at one time. This one is just as great as my last one was. It does what I need to when I need to. I don't make my own external drives that much anymore, but it's always nice to have.

Perhaps not something everyone needs, but my processor died on my last machine and I was able to get all my files off of the hard drive. I also used it to grab some old games off another even older drive!

My PC finally bit the dust but the hard drive was still good. I am using the docking station with my old hard drive to back-up my files. This is way better than the "packaged" back-up drives available!

Set up was easy, I purchased this unit to replace my old unit and it stop working after one use. My first unit did not work on SSD's, it only worked on a normal hard drive . I purchased this umit to upgrade my computer to an SSD. I return the unit and i will purchase another unit in the future.

I have numerous older HDs with old data on them. This allows me to retrieve the data. It is slower that a normal HD connection but works good.
