Did not work as expected. The rear dock does not work without the front one. It also loads the same data on both drives

I used the docking station to copy a spinning disk to an SSD for my MBP. It was USB 3.0 fast, way faster than the 2.0 version. I will continue to use it to offline large files as needed.

You may not use that much but, this does make upgrading and swapping out drives easier. I wish I had bought the USB-c version.

It would be great if it had a cover to put over the exposed hard drive. So, you can leave the hard drive in it over time.

I do a lot of data transfer back and forth from different hard drives. It has cut my time in half when transferring data. It is a must item for any tech doing data recovery backup.

It's a little slow being recognized by computers but very convenient if there was one with 5 drives that would be even better.

When i bought this one it was on sale and cheaper than the basic one which was a no brainer to buy. love that it reads SSD hard drives as well. It works great and have no complaints yet.

Recommended by Geek Squad to run my old hard drive in to pull info off it to transfer data to my newly installed internal HD.....Didn't know these existed - makes sense now...
