This was a replacement for a 1kW Gold Thermaltake PS that one day didn't wake up from being turned off... I think it actually performs a bit cooler and quieter. It's enough for two (what used to be) high-end AMD video cards in Crossfire mode and a small RAID array (that was replaced later w/ a single SSD...).

I have had no issues with this power supply. It works great.

Like how quite the unit is. The amount of cables it provides was good for my setup. The only thing I am not sure is that the PC will no longer start based on BIOS startup schedule. Could be power supply or it could be the motherboard. Have not gotten around to confirm and do not have any other power supply to test with.

My kid's computer was starting to run slow and shut down for no reason. At first I blamed the old GTX 660 graphics card. Turns out the power supply was going. He got a new power supply and a 970 out of the deal. This power supply has enough juice for everything in the computer. It's pretty much dedicated to gaming

Very Flexible Flat Cables and a real quiet fan. For the money it would be nice if the cables were modular. This would allow for better cable management, but it was modular which meant I was able to hide less cables.

I'm building a desktop, and I needed a power supply. This on had the specs and good reviews. I got it and it worked beautifully. Thermaltake is a good company and its been around for a long time.

Does everything I needed. Installed as a replacement of a failed power supply. Good documentation to support it. Plenty of power cables to run a server with several disk drives etc.

Power in my PC blown in storm. I picked this off the shelf in the store, replaced the dead one in less than 30 minutes and was up and running. This also gave a 50 watt increase to my power.

Installation was easy; unit had enough output plugs to handle two hard drives and two CD/DVD drives without overheating. 5-year warranty was a nice bonus considering the price was very reasonable.

This was bought as a gift for my husband to upgrade his computer for gaming. Easy to install, and it truly makes a difference when you are trying to get the most out of your gaming experience.
