Q: Will this suffice for an 8 pin plus 6 pin (needing both to power GPU) GTX 970 MSI gaming 4g??
A: The power supply has both a 8 pin for the motherboard and a 6 pin for the video card.
A: yes this is a standard psu and it has enough power for that i put it in with a amd FX 8350 and GTX 660 FTW both overclock without problem

A: Yes it should. The supply should fit in any ATX type case, tower, mid tower sized computer. I've installed these supplies in other Dell towers.
